Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Bring all the toys, boat, ATV's, snowmobiles. There is always something to do and fun to be had. Looking for someplace close enough to the Dells for a day trip, but far from crowds? Or someplace to park the boat between days of hunting monster perch or catfish on Lake buffalo's 2100 acres of water. This is the place for the outdoor fun and indoor comfort.
Welcome to our charming lakeside retreat nestled in the picturesque countryside of Montello, Wisconsin. Our cozy home offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts for your next getaway.
Our home boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, with natural wood finishes, cozy furnishings, and panoramic views of the serene lake from every window. The main living area features a comfortable seating area where you can unwind by the stone fireplace or gather with loved ones for a movie night on the flat-screen TV.
The Kitchen:
Prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the essential cookware and utensils you need. Enjoy your meals at the dining table with seating for 8, or take advantage of the outdoor grill and dine al fresco on the spacious deck overlooking the lake.
The Bedrooms:
Retreat to one of three inviting bedrooms, each appointed with plush bedding and charming décor for a restful night's sleep. Wake up to the gentle sounds of nature and breathtaking views of the lake, promising a peaceful start to your day.
The Outdoors:
Step outside and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds our cabin. Spend your days lounging on the deck, sipping your morning coffee as you watch the sunrise over the water, or venture down to the private dock for a day of fishing and boating on the tranquil lake.
Pets are welcome with a fee.

Lake Buffalo is a little over 2100 acres of water, home to most species of game fish but notably to giant perch and largemouth bass.
In the fall the lake can be a duck hunters paradise as well.

The environment was amazing, very accommodating and the owner was very prompt to respond to any questions we had. We had a great time, the house is well located for fishing and getting away but close enough to town in case you want to go out to eat or trip to the store. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Montello area.

Everything went off without a hitch. Host gave me a pre check-in tour and answered all of our questions quickly. Everything worked as expected except some outlets in the master bedroom. Highly recommend if you want a decent place with a beautiful lake view and no problems.

A great place for a get together with a group. Lots of beds and space. Nice view of the lake as well. The lake itself should be strictly viewed as a fishing lake. The house was stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and household items. Hand towels and washcloths were lacking, but that's really my only knock. Thanks for letting us stay, we all enjoyed it!

Great place to stay super convenient for us 6 guys. Fished some tournaments in the area able to park 3 boats easy. Power to charge was a little tricky. We managed. Ower super cool plan on using next year same time if available.

Short getaway

Booked short (3 days) vacation on a whim. House was clean and as described. Ramp into the house was very helpful for our old Bouvier dog. Had a nice fire in the pit one night with everyone gathered round. Were unlucky fishing off the dock but didn't spend much time at it. We had plenty of room and all got along. Would certainly recommend!

Close to everything

The house was very clean and had a great view of the lake. It us located on Buffalo Lake, within minutes of Montello and the Wisconsin Dells is only 30 minutes away. James always got back to questions quickly and was a wonderful host.

Fantastic lake property

The centralized location allowed us to adventure to numerous parts. Highly recommend driving through Amish country. The house is very comfortable, amply supplied. We enjoyed numerous grilled dinners on the deck. The wildlife put on many shows to include a deer walking through the property, hummingbird flying up to greet us and cranes putting on numerous shows daily. The view of the lake from the deck is ever changing.
