The deck has a gas fireplace, as well as the living room on the main floor. The property also includes access to 240V fast EV charging.

Guest Access:

You will have access to the main house and outdoor areas including the dock. The driveway is paved and very large. The property is over 2.5 acres in size. Guests will not have access to the garage.

The Neighborhood:

Swinging Bridge Reservoir is the largest largest lake in the Sullivan Catskills, and one of the few that allows motor boats. You'll feel removed from the city, but still within 20 minutes of groceries and things to do. The neighborhood is a mix of seasonal homes and year round residents. A public boat launch is nearby, and just around the corner are two full services marinas--Starlight and Swinging Bridge Marinas.

Getting Around:

We recommend having car for your stay. Taxis are available, but ride sharing services are more sparse. Rental car services are available in Monticello. Shortline Coach Bus Service provides service between New York City and Monticello as well.

Otisville and Port Jervis Metro North Stations are each approximately 30 minutes drive from the house. The trip from NY Penn Station to Otisville is about 2 hours. Train/bus access is great if you have members of your group who need to arrive/depart at different times.

Things To Know:

You will be required to sign a rental agreement after the booking is confirmed. Full terms of the agreement are available on request. Additionally, you will be required to upload an approved government identification card or passport when you complete the rental agreement. If you have questions about either of these requirements please message us prior to booking.

Fees may apply for early check-ins, late check-outs, and additional optional services.

Up to two dogs may stay at the property. The first dog is includes in the nightly rate. The second dog incurs a $25/night fee.

No more than 6 cars allowed.

The dock is not available from early November until the lake has thawed and levels stabilize in late spring.

Guests do not have access to the jet skis moored on site. Boat rentals are available from the local marinas.
