The room was clean and spacious. We only spent a night but it was great. It's an old building, physical keys so don't lose em. Check in was good. Parking was available behind the building in the alley, but it's not the best maintained and the unhoused people hanging out there when we went to park made us decide to park across the street indoors.

Could have been cleaner. It's a good idea to renew the towels once in a year. The mattress and pillows were terribly awful, couldn't sleep. Please renew them.
The staff were friendly.
Location was central to everything, ie walking distance to Old Montreal, lots of restaurants, pubs, shopping, cinema, & Bell Center. Room was clean & quiet. Parking was free. It was a bit warm in the room with no way to change the temp other than open the window. We had to walk up 30 steps to get to our 2nd floor room. The price was great & we would definitely stay there again.
The room was filthy, when I complained to the staff they accused me of putting the dirt under the mattress and (what looked like) bed bugs under the mattress and then started yelling at me so I had to leave and find another hotel
I booked this hotel 14 days prior to my trip through Expedia, was charge the whole stay at booking. Then I changed the travel plan and tried to cancel the reservation 2 days after booking, so 12 days prior to arrival. I was denied for the refund. Expedia told me they processed the cancellation and it was up to the owner to approve it. It was impossible to reach the owner/manager over the phone. They refused to give me the name of the owner/manager, and at one point even told me no manager. I finally talked to someone apparently the owner in person when I arrived the city. He told me to talk to Expedia... I don’t know who really makes the decision. I didn’t get a penny back. By the way, I never got any warning message such as non-refundable reservation while booking it.
