Great! So nice

What a cozy cabin up in the woods. Nice and secluded, small town near by with some small town food. Very quiet, host was excellent to talk to and responsive with questions I had, nice to have a full kitchen. Only con I can think of: The bed was sooo hard. We had 3 room with two queens and a king. One of the queens was a real mattress. The other queen and king were likely just foam mattresses but felt like sleeping on granite.

I liked this place very much. Room was clean if somewhat small. My dogs loved the big open area around the cabins and the common area had a full kitchen to cook your meals in. I would definitely stay here again.

No air conditioning. Outdoor temp was 96F on arrival. Cabin had been closed with fan in the room. Estimate temp in the room at check-in 100F . By 8 pm the outdoor temp had dropped to the 70s. SHOWER TEMP KNOBS had NO way of knowing which was hot or cold, and once turned on, no way to see which way to turn off or on: no arrows on the knobs were visible.

Strange checkin, but sort of fun

When I got there, I was the only person. And I mean ONLY--no owner or staff onsite, no other guests. I called the number on the door. They'd left my room open so I could get in, and I was just hanging out on the chairs in the sun for two hours by myself (I am NOT complaining, it was pretty nice). They'd had some flooding due to really excessive amounts of snow in the area (600+ inches), so were working to fix all that. Beds were comfy, had TV, fridge, microwave. Bathroom not fancy, but ok.

We stayed here on short notice and it was a nice experience. Off the beaten track, for sure and in a really beautiful location. The hosts were so friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend this place.

Loved Kiser Creek

Neat place on the Mesa! We were fortunate to be the only guests on property! We had the Lodge building to ourselves. Made our small cabin (Mtn Man) feel so much larger and homier. It's a perfect location for skiing, hiking, or just quiet serenity.

Cute rustic

Its was a very cute rustic place. Bed was a little small and too soft for our liking. The top mattress kept sliding off the boxsprings and my husbamd fell off the bed 3 times throughout the night. Own was very accommodating and opened a game room. We were the only ones staying and at the prperty that night and it got down to zero degrees that night. We really appreciated the owner opening and heating this extra room just for us.
