Quiet Lakefront Retreat nestled in the woods.

If you are looking to escape to the woods and a lake this is your place. We are 25 minutes from Binghamton, NY and 35 minutes to Elk Mountain PA. Our place is comfortable and is your home for the time you are here. Complete house with lake access from the yard, kayaks, canoe, paddle boats, row boat and more. There is a pavilion, firepit and BBQ grill at your disposal. Peace and quiet with no motors allowed on the lake. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED DUE TO COVID CONCERNS.

Clean, cozy , warm and beautiful. The lake views were beautiful. The owners were very nice. They went above and beyond. Even brought us toys for our 2 year old to play with. The entire trip was above and beyond what we expected. I caught a ton of purch , blue gill , pickerel and a few small mouth bass. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and then some! Can’t wait to return! Thank you for your hospitality!

Although the host was right next door we did feel we had our privacy. The cabin had many personal family photos which made us feel a little like we were invading their space. So as constructive criticism perhaps a little less personal items would make future renters feel more at home. All in all the hiking was fun and the property provided a restful and relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lakefront house. It was clean, comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. The small lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boating or just sitting and being still, watching the fish jump and even perhaps catching a sight of a bald eagle fishing. The kitchen had plenty of space and everything needed for whatever you wanted to prepare. The listing made it sound like it was the whole house however the owners live in an addition to the original house and you share the outdoor area. This was not a problem. Kevin and Tami were great hosts, available if we had questions and lovely to chat with but otherwise not around. We hope to go back again!

Great Lake Side Retreat

Spent three nights and really enjoyed our stay. Especially loved how comfortable the bed was. We were very tired following a busy week before arriving. Wish we had more energy to enjoy the lake. We did have a nice trip around the lake in their paddle boat and my husband enjoyed a quick swim. We were very entertained by all the wildlife, including a bald eagle. It was a relaxing stay for for us which was just what the doctor ordered. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Fabulous getaway! Pictures do not do this lakefront home justice. Extremely spacious and welcoming.. you would never know that this home was even attached to the owner’s home. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to make use of the outdoor lake toys. Know your directions as Verizon cell phone service does not work in that area.. Definitely will be rebooking!

Rustic getaway with all the modern amenities!

This was our third time here, and as usual it did not disappoint!! Lots of sitting areas inside and out, and one of the best appointed kitchens we can remember ever having! Short walk to the water which we greatly appreciated! The fishing was good for May, too!! Tami and Kevin are delightful hosts. Ask Tami about her “Magic Lotion” which she makes herself. Still using it ! It works on achy joints! Looking forward to visit #4!!

Stop Reading and Book it!

Three quick things: 1. The listing is about 15 minutes outside of Montrose, 2. The hosts live in a house connected to the cottage but are super nice and will respect your privacy, and 3. The light switch for the living room is behind the TV. Now go book this place! It is amazing, super clean, and roomy but cozy at the same time. If there is something you need, it’s there, you just haven’t seen it yet. Really. I’ve never left a hotel and felt sad that I was leaving but I was sad to leave here. I really hope to go back someday.

Quite, cozy stay

We had a wonderful time at the quiet lake house retreat. Kevin and Tami were awesome host. They messaged detailed instructions on how to get to the place and it was pitch black out but easy to find. We had no real plans only to relax but found brochures that were left for us and went to a great shooting range not to far and extended our stay to hit a awesome hiking trail that we found on another brochure. Definitely recommend. We will be back this summer since the lake behind the house was frozen but looks like a lot of fun. Thanks again to Kevin and Tami
