2nd Level Entry

The 2nd level entrance has stairs wide enough for your excited party to beat you to the top. The pay off for carrying up your supplies comes with scenic elevated views of mountain wildlife. 



Open Main Level

Wide Open Spaces. Experience the Above The Rest feeling as you enter this open, uncluttered, cozy cabin of luxury elegance. The hardwood floors complement the heart pine wall to ceiling paneling. Kitchen & Dining. The main harvest table seats twelve.  Off the dining areas is a fully stocked, open and airy kitchen with spacious countertops. The island seats a breakfast bunch awaiting your hosting sensibilities. Living Room Lounging. Hear and smell the crackling oak in the warmth of a floor to ceiling, mountain stone, wood-burning fireplace. Watch TV on a big screen conveniently off to the side of the fireplace. Inescapable Draw. Plenty of seating around the wood-burning fireplace will beckon lounge seekers who may not escape the gravity of this lethargic den. 



Screened-In Patio Hot Tub

On the main is a comfortable, extra-strength, pain relieving, hot tub. Take a soothing soak while taking in the mountain scents and sounds. This tub was drained, sanitized, filled with clean mountain spring water, and pH-balanced before your arrival. The nearby gas log fireplace will kill any chill when exiting the tub. Edged with rockers, this cozy screened-in porch will be an evening highlight.



Top Loft Master Suite

The master loft suite has a king bed and a private balcony to spend some quality time together. Equipped with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower occupies the master bath, this room can’t be beat! 



Top Loft Bunker

Complementing the impressive master suite are TWO Twin Over full bunk beds! Even more, stairs to a secret ‘loft above the loft includes two futons! 



Lower Level Bedrooms & Entertainment

Bedrooms & Bath. Plenty of sleeping accommodations down below with a private King bedroom, private Queen bedroom, AND a Twin-over-Queen bunk! The King has beautiful views and private access to the lower patio, hammock, and rocker. All three bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and laundry area. Entertainment. A wet bar serves billiard game activities. It may be tough getting the pool sharks to come up stairs for a feeding.! 



Firepit

When darkness falls, gather around the firepit. Enjoy roasted marshmallow moments, good conversation, and lots of laughs amid a nocturnal wildlife soundtrack and trickling creek. On clear nights, don’t forget to look up and be humbled by a diamond-studded sky you don’t see in the city.

Then there’s the warming heart of historic downtown Blue Ridge. And, oh my, does she have a lot of heart. Delicious restaurants and unique local shops and galleries you won’t find anywhere else is the gravity of her charisma. All this, and you’ll barely have time to visit the family-friendly wineries and orchards with their thrilling fall tractor hayride tours.

Cabin Check-Out Procedures

1. Place all trash in supplied white kitchen bags under the sink and dispose in

outside garbage bins.

2. Insert detergent pod in dishwasher. Start the dishwasher on all dirty dishes.

3. Do not make your slept-in beds the morning of departure. We take care of

laundry after you leave.

4. Please close all blinds and turn off all inside and outside lights.

Interaction with Guests:

Feel safe in that you will be able to reach us 24/7 once you have booked a cabin. Our office is open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday. Once you have booked – we will provide a number for texting. You may text with important questions that need timely answers after 6 pm and on Sundays. We also provide an Emergency Hotline number which may be called at any time with emergencies after you arrive at the cabin or if you get lost prior to arriving at your cabin. The Emergency Hotline is answered by the company owners themselves. No other mountain cabin rental company in the region offers this direct owner accountability protection, which is why we're Above The Rest, not All the rest.
