Enjoy hiking, biking, boating, tubing, rafting, crafting, orchards, wineries & more. You can relax, read a book or watch a movie. THE SPACE
You ascend the mountain on an asphalt drive (easily done with any vehicle). The view is immediately visible from the driveway, and the gravel parking area will comfortably fit three vehicles.
Doorway enters to main living area, with vaulted ceilings, and floor to ceiling cathedral windows of the sprawling mountain views. In fact, every bedroom has a mountain view. Push the timer switch and light up the gas fireplace, to set the mood. Across the living room is the master bedroom with 1 king bed, complete with smart TV, full closet, and smart TV. Upstairs you find the loft area, complete with a queen bed and a common area. Past the loft is another bedroom with a king bed, identical to the master, complete with a private deck with the best view in the house! Taking the downstairs steps, from the kitchen area, leads to a game room complete with pool table, air hockey, arcade, foosball, Jack Daniels bar, and a smart TV. To the left is the lower level bedroom, with two full beds, and it's own bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with beautiful custom log beds.

Our location is absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a mountain getaway but don’t want to get ‘cabin fever’ then 'In the Heights' is your ideal place. We are in a secluded location but you only have a short 12 minute drive to historic downtown Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to Blairsville, both with restaurants, movies, grocery, activities and shopping. Game room has Full size Arcade Game with 60 classic games (Pacman, Galaga, Donkey Kong and more), Xbox, 55" Roku Smart TV with Jack Daniels Bar, Pool table, Air Hockey and Foosball. Cabin has 5 Roku Smart TVs. Keep your evening routine with Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Espn+, HBOMax using your own accounts or watch live programming with DirecTV Stream on us.

Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, tubing, rafting, antiquing, crafting, wineries and biking. Boat and wave runner rentals as well as water activities such as kayak, canoe, and paddle boarding are also nearby. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Swan Drive-In Theatre (since 1955), and many shops from mom and pop stores to upscale shopping are here for your enjoyment. Mercier Orchards is nearby for a great selection of fresh produce, “pick your own” in the fields or just stocking the cabin for your stay with yummy treats. Want to try Zip lining the luscious tree canopy of the mountains – Yes you can do that too. Are you a gambler? If so, Harrah’s Cherokee River Casino is only a 40 minute drive for a day or evening of blackjack, slots, craps, table games or roulette.

Challenge your “cabin mates” to a match on the Pool Table, Foosball, Air Hockey or a board game. Or just sit at the beautiful unique wood bar top supported by Jack Daniels barrels and enjoy a beverage of your choice and watch the game on the large 55” Roku Smart TV in this perfectly equipped game room. Unwind with a nostalgic game of Pacman, Centipede, Galaga, Space Invaders, Frogger, Donkey Kong or even Ms. Pacman. We have a full size arcade game that has over 60 of your favorite arcade games. All without costing you a nickel. Let the indoor activities begin!

Feel free to feed the deer off the main deck or relax by the open fire in the back yard. A six (6) person hot tub is located on the deck with spectacular mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen provides plenty of room for you to prepare your favorite recipes or cook on the gas BBQ grill on the deck. Your crew will dine family style at a beautiful red cedar hand built table for 10 with additional bar stools at the counter. Enjoy the breathtaking sights from the rocking chairs or 2 person glider on the deck. You can also enjoy the additional rocking chairs on the balcony off the 2nd master suite upstairs.

Who doesn’t want to do laundry when on vacation? We have a full sized washer and dryer available for your use – but of course you won’t be needing that, right? Bring a book, and don’t forget the S’mores ingredients. This will be a vacation you won’t forget.

Regretfully we do not allow pets. Our children with allergies simply cannot tolerate them. Sorry.

GUEST SAFETY
Doorbell Camera - We have one doorbell camera that faces the street at the front door of the cabin. This is to facilitate communication with cleaning crews, deliveries, and to monitor trash pickup. It also helps us enforce our 'NO PARTIES' house rule. There are NO monitoring devices inside the cabin. We have Nest Smoke/CO detectors on each floor of the cabin to monitor for Smoke and Carbon Monoxide.
