Tucked along the Ararat River just 2.5 miles from downtown Mount Airy, Riverside Memories blends built-in adventure with the kind of comfort that lets everyone finally exhale. River mornings. The Adventure Tower keeps kids moving, adults laughing, and somehow gets everyone off their phones without trying very hard.

🏠 Inside

Riverside has a way of making togetherness feel easy.

Someone's cooking while someone else is halfway through a puzzle. Kids disappear toward the game room. Grandparents linger over coffee. The person who usually plans everything finally sits down for a minute.

Dinner stretches a little longer than expected. Conversations do too.

And somehow there always seems to be room for everyone to be together while still finding quiet spaces of their own.

The main living spaces — kitchen, dining area, living room, and all three main-house bedrooms — are all on the main level, making day-to-day living easy once you're inside the home.

Upstairs you'll find a cozy loft space designed primarily for younger guests, while the game room sits downstairs in the basement level.

🌲 Outside

The river is really the heartbeat of Riverside.

Kids skip stones. Adults stay in Adirondack chairs longer than they meant to. Summer afternoons drift toward the pool. Someone starts a game of cornhole. Kids disappear toward the Adventure Tower and somehow don't resurface for a while.

By evening, the fire gets lit, the hot tub gets claimed, and most people somehow end up back together again.

One helpful note as you picture the property: Riverside sits naturally along the landscape rather than being completely flat. The path down to the river follows the natural terrain and includes steeper sections without handrails.

Guests who love exploring, climbing around the river, and spending time outdoors tend to absolutely love it. Water shoes are a great idea — especially for little ones.

Hi — I'm Beata.

I designed Riverside for the person carrying the planning load.

The one quietly hoping everyone will be happy.

I wanted a place where grandparents could have slow mornings, kids could disappear into play, teenagers could find their own space, and the person carrying the planning load could finally put some of it down for a while.

I personally manage every reservation because hospitality matters deeply to me. Small things are automated for speed so nothing waits. Anything important comes directly from me.

Our Pay-It-Forward pantry works the same way this house does: take what you need, leave what you can.

🌊 Riverside feels peaceful and tucked away, but it is located within a residential setting. Neighboring guests may occasionally be visible along nearby sections of the river, though your river access path and river frontage are private to the property.
