Welcome to The Country Cottage located in the rolling hills of central Ohio. This adorable cottage sits on 42 acres of farmland evoking a sense of piece and tranquility. We are conveniently located 2.8 miles from Gambier and Kenyon College and 2.7 miles from Mt. Vernon and the Nazarene University. This is a stand alone cottage nestled among the trees with breathtaking country views. This 900 square foot cottage is a little bit shabby and a little bit chic, but oh so cozy and charming, It has a fully equipped kitchen, a 55-inch QLED TV, and a large covered porch. The bedroom has a queen-size bed with 100% cotton sheets. There is a full size bath with a tub and shower, stocked with R & R Essentials toiletries, and another half bath. We are truly in the country but close to town. We are located on a less traveled country road where you can take a walk and enjoy all the sounds that nature has to offer or sit on the porch and enjoy the scenery. We will greet you upon arrival, be here for your assistance, but not in your way. Whether you are here on business, visiting family or friends, or just want a romantic getaway, this is the place for you. Please come and see for yourself!

Absolutely fabulous weekend. I spent the weekend writing and it was the perfect location. Quiet, peaceful, exceptionally clean and comfortable, and Patti and Dan were lovely. Highly recommend and would stay again at any of their properties in a heartbeat.
