Very spacious room with incredible view of the Gorge. Clean and comfortable. Has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Could not find that on the website. Would recommend very highly. Only con: Only one restaurant (Indian) and no store nearby for water, snacks, etc. Be sure to come prepared with your own stash.

The staff was great! They were able to relocate us to a first-floor room from the second floor as I have a problem climbing stairs. The grounds were beautiful, and this comes from a person who owned and ran a nursery and landscape business for 37 years. The grounds alone insures that we will return.

We had the two bedroom with a living space and small kitchen combo area - top floor. The views were beautiful and had a lovely sitting area outside. Originally I was upset as I didn’t have a balcony which I thought I had booked but this room was so much better. Perfect family vacation. Looks a little dated when you first drive in but honestly was one of the cleanest and nicest locations. Would recommend - close to many great attractions from fruit farms, hikes and waterfalls, lavender farms, wineries, craft beers and ciders, downtown restaurants and scenic view points and water sports (just some of the things we found)

They are managing it with great care and love!! There are many beautiful flowers along the road and the yard in front of the building is a wonderful place to enjoy the river. The staff are super nice and welcoming. The room was clean and lovely. It has a good view for the Columbia River as well.

Prisoner in my own room

The last time I stayed here I loved the ability to sit outside watch the sunset & enjoy the landscape so I booked again. Upon arrival, the clerk asked me if I had been contacted by the hotel about a wedding that was taking place. I had not been notified. He told me that the wedding was directly behind the building that I was assigned and assured me that the noise would be over no later than 9. I was displeased but at that time of day there were no other options in the area within my budget. The wedding was literally 3 steps outside of my window. The noise, flashing lights from the dance floor and loud voices kept me awake well past 9. I attempted to call once but no answer. I called again and was assured that they would deal with it. The noise continued. The rooms on either side of mine were used by the wedding party and the constant coming and going meant banging doors and laughter as well. In the morning, i went outside to enjoy the patio, only to be greeted with the tent & chair rental company packing up. The reason I booked this hotel was based on the ability to enjoy the outside space. Due to the wedding I was not able to. I expressed my concerns to the front desk person in the morning, I was met with a lack of concern. The hotel had an obligation to notify me about the event. I booked through hotels.com and checked the email from Westcliff to make sure all was set there was no mention of a wedding or that I would not be able to use the reason that I booked to begin with

Wonderfully kept grounds and nicely kept clean rooms . Bed was excellent and the shower was full flow and refreshing. The in room coffee provided was however un -drinkable but a Safeway with a Starbucks was a three minute drive away. All in all, a great place to stay.
