Kotimme sijaitsee mailin pÀÀssÀ 14. 5 kylÀssÀ Nags Head Linkside -yhteisössÀ. Nauti nÀkymistÀ lampille ja ruokkimaan kilpikonnia maisemoidulla takapihalla, samoin kuin vÀylÀnÀkymÀt Soundside-rantakodimme kannelta, joka sijaitsee Nags Head -golfkentÀn 13. teellÀ. ViihtyisÀ mökki on sisustettu mukavasti kaikella, mitÀ perheesi tarvitsee ikimuistoiseen oleskeluun rannalla. Sijaitsee rauhallisella umpikujassa kÀvelyetÀisyydellÀ ruokakaupasta, kaupoista ja ravintoloista. Se on vain lyhyen ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ golfkentÀltÀ (lisÀmaksu), rantakerho, jossa uima-allas alle mailin pÀÀssÀ talosta tai yksityinen pÀÀsy rannalle alle 1/2 mailin pÀÀssÀ talosta, jossa on kylpyamme (passit sisÀltyvÀt vuokraan). KÀvele veden ÀÀrellÀ sijaitsevalle puistolle kÀynnistÀmÀÀn kajakkeja ja kanootteja tai vain katsomaan auringonlaskuja. Upea naapurusto pyörÀilyyn (tuo omat tai ne voi vuokrata paikallisilta myyjiltÀ) tai nauti vain kÀvelystÀ.

This place was perfect from before we got there, through our stay and beyond. Everything was as promised. For us, the real treat and surprise was the simple things: beach chair, bbq grill, turtles in the overlooking pond, under home car port, dvd player, and great shower pressure. Carolina Cottage was perfect!! It is exactly as described and Jeanne is the perfect host. She responded to our questions immediately and like a friend. It is in the perfect location to everything. The private beach access was the best, and easy to get to. I would recommend to anyone going to the Outer Banks. We will definitely be back!!

We stayed here over a holiday weekend that I ended up having emergency surgery BUT there were 2 excellent recliners that were perfect & comfortable for me to be in. Who would have expected that! She also provided pump hand soap! I alway have to go buy hand soap my first day of vacay so that was a nice touch. It was the perfect place for our family of 4. I would definitely recommend & we would stay here again.

Best week ever!!

This house was one of the best we have ever stayed at. Jeanne, the host, provided everything that you could need for a week at the beach. But the one thing you never knew you needed
turtles! Feeding the turtles was one of the best experiences we had all week. We went out with a mix of cantaloupe, watermelon and kale chopped up in small bites and they came from all over the pond for a snack. We could not wait to feed them every day. The house is beautiful but you must go out back and feed the turtles if you stay here.

Very nice stay for a week. Great communication with owner. House is very clean. Location within an easy walk or bike ride to a plaza with a Food Lion, Market Express, Duck Bonut, Dollar General etc. Can walk or bike ride to pool and beach access but must cross four lane highway which has a traffic light and crosswalk at both intersections. Beds comfortable. Just a reminder, if you have small children that might have an accident, only one set of sheets for each bed
may be good idea to bring another set. Enjoyed mornings and later evenings on back top deck overlooking the pond and 13th hole. Our grandchildren enjoyed feeding the turtles in the pond. Beach toys and chairs available for use. Charcoal grill was used a couple times. Very quiet for sleeping. Used the primary bedroom walk in closet for our grandson. Pack and play fit perfectly. Kitchen, although small, has everything needed to cook meals. We played some of the games provided. Complex good for bike riding with younger children

Perfect Fit

We are a family of four and this house fit perfect for us. The house was very clean and the best stocked house I have stayed in at the Outer Banks. The owner is wonderful very prompt with any questions and helped us feel right at home. My children enjoyed the turtles in the pond. They checked on them daily and even gave a few of them names. Gorgeous sunsets and the sound side park within walking distance is wonderful. We enjoyed the included passes to the village beach club. Very convenient location, grocery store and shops in walking distance.Overall our stay was amazing and I would absolutely stay at Carolina Cottage again!Thank you for all the memories!

Beautiful location, great stay

Beautiful location on a quiet pond with gorgeous sunset views on back porch every evening. 3 levels: master bed/bath on bottom with closet big enough for 2-3 pack and plays if you need (our one year old slept here). Bedroom 2 (queen) and bedroom 3 (2 twins) on middle split level with bathroom. Family/dining/kitchen on third level with sliding door and deck overlooking the pond. Beach toys/chairs in garage closet, towels, linens, kitchen fully stocked w/ pots, pans and everything we needed to cook for 6 people. My 3 year old loved feeding the friendly turtles every day (there were literally 15). Location was a quarter mile drive (across highway) to the private ocean beach location included with the stay. Great spot. Upon arrival we did have to sweep/mop because of a mishap with the owners housekeeper, but the owner was very responsive and apologetic and clearly from other reviews this is not the norm and was outside of her control. Coffee pot was also broken but thankfully we brought keurig pods; though we would recommend upgrading to an actual keurig for a better quality brew; interesting aftertaste
just a note :) Overall enjoyable stay!

Perfect OBX getaway

We visited the OBX to cemebrate our 15th wedding anniversary as we were married on the beach at Kitty Hawk Pier. We traveled with another couple who live in VA Beach. My husband commented several times how perfect the place was. We especially enjoyed watching all the turtles in the pond (we counted about 15!) And star gazing at night. We walked part of the golf trail and found the bayside pier area which is fantastic. Great communication from the host and we also loved the reading exchange library!

Beautiful Getaway Location!

The cottage check in process was very easy. The location is beautiful, overlooking an artificial pond at the golf course. The living space was well organized and was exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be looking at this location for our next trip back!
