The rooms were bright and spacious, absolutely loves the kitchen area and everything supplied. We did buy plastic things because we have kids and didn't want broken plates or cups and everything provided was glass. The windows and balconies were very sandy and briney, which is probably par for the course at the outer banks. The floors did have a greasy quality to them likely because whoever mopped before us used too much concentrate. We re-mopped on arrival day with soap and water and that did the trick. The thermostat didn't go below 68 which was a big deal for us as it was quite humid out. The fans helped but not much and we spent much of the time feeling sticky from not being able to cool down properly.The big air vents on the wall were absolutely covered in dust. The sliding glass door on the first floor was practically rushed shut and came out of track several times while trying to enjoy an ocean breeze so we mostly left it shut which was a bummer. The screen to the same door fell out of track as soon as we tried to open it and we ended up having to prop it out of the way against a wall because it wouldn't stay. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We loved the parking situation.The issues we had with our stay are the HOAs responsibility from what we were told. The pool deck, sidewalk boards, etc that need to be repaired or replaced as our 6 year old has to go to urgent care for a gash and splinter from the pool deck.
