À notre arrivée, la chambre était malpropre. Les deux lits étaient sales, la moquette tachée, il y avait de la gomme sur la chaise de bureau et un contenant de jus se trouvait derrière le téléviseur. Tout ceci sans compter les cheveux partout. De toute évidence, la chambre avait été utilisée avant notre arrivée. À noter toutefois qu’une nouvelle chambre nous a été attribuée à notre satisfaction.

Not felt welcomed overall, unexpected busy street at front during night hours and room facing that direction lack of curtains or noise separation/reduction/cancellation. Horrible night. Complimentary breakfast was cheap, mostly short staffed during peak hours, selection of choice much less than expected, just on the better than nothing side.

The breakfast attendant was outstanding. She was so friendly and was on the run continually replenishing what was needed or constantly cleaning all surfaces. Never seen anything like it! Would have been nice if a loaf of gluten free bread was kept on hand but we did bring our own just in case. Any other staff we had contact with was very friendly also. Makes a difference in one’s stay.

The only problem was that the toilets are so low. Us seniors have a great deal of trouble getting on and off. Other than that our experience was excellent.

The rooms were large and comfortable, and the breakfast was just above average. The hotel could use some updating and carpet cleaning, but I would stay there again on a short trip to Nanaimo

Property was clean enough but staff slow at check in, nobody there at check out and housekeeping was often should we say…“underdressed” The bed frame on both beds was so noisy a mouse could make it squeak, was awful to sleep on. We were put across from elevator where the extremely noisy ice machine is also located, if those two noises didn’t keep you awake the road noise did.
