Experience the beauty of the Pacific Ocean from this dramatic setting, the panoramic views of neighboring Molokai and Lanai, and the spectacular sunsets from the expansive decks. The sea life is constantly on display, and during whale season, you’ll be thrilled to see the humpback whales return home to Maui each year. Dozens of large green sea turtles call the area home year-round; schools of spinner dolphins and monk seals are also frequently spotted. This magnificent home has six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. You’ll marvel at the beautiful high ceilings and live palm trees in the expansive great room of this custom-crafted home.

“This home is amazing. There was plenty of space for our large group of 8, allowing for privacy and warm common areas. The view off of the back deck made this easily the best rental experience we've had. Perfect for sunsets and moonlight off the water, and if you go during the Winter months, you can watch humpback whales playing right from the deck. I must have seen 100+ breaches in the 6 days we were there. Plenty of close by restaurants, and there's a great little market and coffee shop right around the corner. Thank you so much! Nestled just below the world-famous Kapalua Beach Resort, you will be just minutes away from the beautiful white sand beaches, scenic hiking trails, award-winning tennis and pickleball facilities, championship golf courses, world-class spas, and the unique restaurants of Kapalua and Napili.

The chef in your family will love the fully equipped kitchen and gas barbecue for grilling up everyone’s favorite dish. The house is also equipped with high-speed WIFI and several large-screen smart TVs. Five bedrooms enjoy king-size beds, a queen-size sofa bed in the master bedroom, and the guest room has a Queen bed.

Air Conditioning—All bedrooms have air conditioning. There is no AC in the living room, but there is good airflow, and ceiling fans bring in the cool trade winds.

This legal short-term vacation rental home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Excessive noise, parties, and occupancy violations may result in Maui County Police evictions and fines up to $2,000/day. Whalers Investment Group, LLC reserves the right to terminate occupancy without a refund should violations of house rules or occupancy limits occur.
* Quiet hours shall be maintained from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am, during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Any sound that is audible beyond the Honu Hale boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
* Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited.
* Vehicles shall park in the designated onsite parking areas and shall not be parked on the street.
* No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
Note: The shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawaii and is open for the free use by everyone.

Great property with large bedrooms and tons of space. The back deck was amazing for morning coffee watching the humpbacks right from the porch. An afternoon cocktail watching the turtles swim right below and climb out to the beach. Good beaches just minutes away. Great property - great location!

We had a great stay! The house is a little on the older side, but was very clean and the views were worth it all!!! Sea turtles all around the cove. We also saw lots a whales. The house is huge and had plenty of space for our group of 12. There were even a few beach items in the garage for our use which was so helpful! Very happy with the location and would definitely book here again.

A View Without Comparison

Our family had an incredible stay in this beautiful home that overlooks a small cove filled with sea turtles. We had magnificent sunsets and the home is close to restaurants and markets making it very convenient.

This house was absolutely amazing and had every amenity we could possibly want. With all the beautiful places we visited on the island, everyone said the house was the star by far. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balconies and even saw a double rainbow which clearly ended on our backyard rocks. The experience was wonderful and found everything we needed in the home. The host was always available but non-intrusive. Will definitely be back again and look forward to more time in the home.

This house has a 6 million dollar view but is a bit run down, in need of a great deal of repair. The furnishings are very Spartan.The kitchen is ill equipped for serious cooking. There isn't sufficient cutlery, coffee cups for 8 people. There is no stereo system, nor books, games, puzzles for rainy days. Some basics were missing, soap in the bathrooms, napkins, foil etc.There are no emergency flash lights. We were there during the March Kona low and had warnings of power failures. A smoke detector was faulty. You are paying for the view and location.

Amazing vacation home in a stunning location

This property truly exceeded expectations! The view is amazing, the house was spotless and the features were better than described. The kitchen was well equipped for a home chef to cook in, which was an added bonus. Looking forward to staying here again next time we're in Maui!

Spectacular ocean front views all around

We had a great time! Seeing the ocean so close to master, family room & kitchen plus other bedrooms is amazing. You can hang out on the deck and gazebo and watch the turtles. We have great photos of the turtles, sunset and views from the house. Thank you!

Lovely & Relaxing

Overall terrific. I didn’t give 5 stars because the property was a bit janky (one slider was broken, the kitchen screen door barely could move so we left it open all day), TV remotes didn’t work (buttons to change channels would toggle)….but really - very minor gripes when considering how easy everything was and communication with the property management. We were happy to stay here and truly enjoyed our time! It was comfy and clean! (No dead cockroaches!!)

Spectacular View!

View is amazing! Did not receive check in information but was easily able to get a hold of someone. Group of 12 ranging in age from 8-63. Loved all of the space we had. Beach was a long walk for the older group but the younger group was able to do it fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Great deck and ocean views

Large house that easily accommodated our family. Outside deck has fabulous ocean views. Whales and sea turtles were abundant and great to watch. The house was fairly well appointed, but a bit dated. Upstairs shower leaked into the master bathroom. Wine coolers did not cool. Communication with the property team was excellent and they checked in with us throughout our stay. Overall an excellent property.

They didnt clean tgis property - I'm guessing for multiple weeks - based on how dirty the floors and counters were as well as tve amount of dead roaches everywhere. Worst stay. Not properply advertised.

Great multi-family setting

Family age range from 5-64 years of age. House was well prepared with AC units in each room but no AC in main area which would be nice! Wonderful view and plenty of parking although can be tricky to get out because road is busy. It is close to multiple beaches and restaurants/grocery stores. All rooms were great and the master was wonderful but if the room above is occupied with early risers it can be loud pretty early but overall a wonderful place to stay, visit and have down time! Would opt out for a place with pool if going again with littles but perfect for adults. There were a few roaches in multiple rooms that I think needs addressed I would stay again and the property manager answers every time I called. They approved an early check in and early check out, which both processes were easy!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent my birthday long weekend here with 8 other friends and we had the best time. The master bedroom was probably my fave part of the house with its huge space and direct view of the ocean. Every room in the home was awesome. We had trouble tearing ourselves away from the amazingness of this place. Location is near a lot of stores and a coffee shop we loved. Only negative was a broken dishwasher and no beach access but there are beaches walking distance. The staff for this property were just fabulous and welcoming. They were super responsive too. I’ll be back!!!

Beautiful home with lots of space to spread out and expansive ocean view.

really lovely home with expansive ocean view. Great separation between bedrooms fit our family well. We had my 80 year old mother who took the master which was by itself and then two sets of families with their adult children that could each take a "wing" of the house. One wing had two bedrooms and the other had three. Note that if you have serious mobility issues, avoid this house. there are steps everywhere as the house is split level. Could use TLC in some areas, such as showers (dated) and kitchen (lackluster dishwasher, inefficient freezer and very limited kitchen supplies - for example, no beaters, no ice cube trays, very minimal spices/oils like you would normallly find in a rental).

Turtle House

The Turtle House was an excellent choice for our family vacation to Maui. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and bedrooms for all. Location was convenient to the beaches we wanted to visit and shopping/restaurants that we needed. Place was clean and welcoming. Great communication with the rental office. We woke every morning to the turtles swimming down below and ended each day with beautiful sunsets. We spent a lot of time out on the expansive decks. There were some beach chairs and sand toys in the garage that we used and beach towels were provided. A few suggestions: We had trouble with the coffee makers on sight, although we got coffee after fidgeting with them. There was no icemaker and no ice cube trays, so we bought a few. There was a shortage of paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil and baggies) so we had to buy all those. Some sinks had no hand soap and we ran out of dish soap. We didn’t find the kitchen air conditioner until several days in. And one day electricians showed up unannounced and turned off all the power so they could work on circuits. Unfortunately, it was baby nap time, so that was inconvenient. A heads-up would have been appreciated. All these suggestions do not negate the fact that this was a GREAT place to stay. For the price, we were hoping more essentials would be included.

Perfect place

Wow, better than expected as I have been disappointed with other properties but not this one ! The views and location were the best. My grandsons and the kids and I watched the turtles in the bay from the deck. Also the sunset did not disappoint. We would stay there again.
