We got there at night, so for a person that doesn’t the location it looks run down and dirty (outside), but in the morning the street becomes alive. The room inside was great as well the service. We were also able to find a pizzaria, with great pizza, few streets away that closes at midnight. Although was late at night and the streets were empty, we felt safe.

Amazing rooms.

The bad bit. The area is not great, lots of litter and graffiti, there are very few nice restaurants and the actual building looks awful. At night it becomes an African ghetto. However once you are through the front door the B&B is amazing, rooms are fantastic, literally faultless. Sophia was brilliant on all communication and help us on every occasion. If you just want a base to travel around the area (Pompei, Sorrento, Capri) this is just a short walk from the train station, this is perfect.

The hotel is clean and nice, nothing to complain about. It is very close to the train station but this is what we needed. Staff is very friendly, although we had a little hiccup at the check in. You cannot get into the hotel unless someone meets you by the entrance, and we had to wait for some time and call the staff before we were let it. They provided recommendation for a very good pizza place and we enjoyed the taste of Napoli.

Such a great stay !

The room was very nice and confortable. The host was really helpful and the service was great. We also like the aera because it was very near the central station and at walking distance of a lot of Naples attractions. If we come back to Naples, we will stay again here. I recommand this hotel. The actual building it was housed in was beautiful, with an old style door to the entrance and lift that took you back in time. The host who met us was so warm, friendly, informative and helpful - covering any information we might need to know for our stay including a great restaurant recommendation. Thank you Il Divino.

This is a hidden gem. It is close to the Napoli train station so super easy to get to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the attention to details. It put a smile on my face to see such thoughtfulness! I loved it so much that when my plans changed I went back and stayed there again!

Sofia is so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The hotel is very clean and my room was spotless. Outside on the street not so. It was noisy on the street til 10 or 11 but then total quiet. The owner did a wonderful upgrade to this old building. Everything is modern and with smart technology. I was quite comfortable. I'm only here for one day so I wasn't bothered by the street or noise. If you are coming to Naples and just want a super clean hotel that is peaceful and safe this is the place!

Sophia and Luigi are the best! Via Whatsapp, they reached out to confirm our travel/arrival times and met us at the entrance of Il Divino. Sophia was kind, professional, and thorough when explaining how to get in and out, about the area, and even sent us information about local attractions. She gave us a wonderful recommendation to Gaetano Adamo—best pizza we had in Italy! The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was firm, but not hard. There was a mini fridge/bar for convenience (drinks and snacks you have to pay for) and a kettle with a variety of teas. The bathroom was HUGE with lots of towels, shampoo and mini perfume/cologne. The vouchers for the cafe across the street were a lovely treat—the cafe was welcoming and took the vouchers without hesitation. We had cafe au lait with croissants—very good. Check out was a breeze, just leave card inside the room. There are some reviews about this area—it is Naples! It is like any other big city. Be aware of your surroundings and you will be fine. We were two women travelling and never felt unsafe—just avoid the train station itself at night. Don’t hesitate on booking this amazing hotel/B & B!

I appreciate honest reviews when I look at options, so I’ll be honest. The room, cleanliness, etc. were really excellent. The room was spotless, great bathroom and towels. Mattress was probably one of the hardest I’ve ever experienced. The person that checked us in was super nice, thorough and polite. The neighborhood could not be sketchier. It is really dangerous and 3 minutes walk from the train station ‘crowd’. If you only plan to move to and from the property via taxi (as we did) you will be just fine. If you plan to walk, the area around Il Divino is simply dangerous. Something to consider.
