Trash in parking lot. Carpeting in hallways needed to be vacuumed. Sink in room 304 was clogged; took a long time to drain water. Rod that holds shower curtain was damaged, allowing the curtain to continually slide and water to get all over the floor.

nice convenient places to eat within walking distance. The queen beds had very unsteady frames. We broke one just by sitting on the bed. The other bed wobbled so bad it also felt like it would break. Breakfast was on the lower level which no one told us about until we asked.

Met our needs

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was better than I anticipated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room needed repairs. Some outlets and plugs were needing replacement. Bathroom had a step over tub shower with no grab bars, which was hard for me. Learned if I booked a handicap room it would not have been an issue. Since I needed medical services at Vanderbilt, it worked for us. I will book again for my next medical appointments.

Scary Experience - Staff came into my room at 1 AM

I normally don’t write negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. I was staying overnight on my way from Memphis to Atlanta for 1 night. I went to sleep at 10 p.m. but woke to the sound of what I can only describe as a lot of keys jiggling, and then as it got louder, I woke to someone trying to end my room at 1:15 a.m. I knew the time because I looked at my iPhone next to the bed because I thought maybe I overslept, but I had to shout “hello, can I help you?” before the people apologized and closed the door. This experience spooked me, and I could not sleep properly the rest of the night because clearly it was an employee who had access to my room, but why they needed to enter at 1 a.m. is beyond me. When checking out, I told the front desk, and the woman apologized and took a note to have the General Manager “follow up,” but I really did not feel any sense of urgency from the staff.

Everything went well. The room I was at had a lot of door slamming. There wàs also no ice in my floor. The Staff was friendly and the area was nice and walkable like to Vanderbilt.
