Nice hotel convenient to Green Hills

Beautiful, up to date hotel. 3 issues. $30/day for parking is a ridiculous money-grab in a residential area with plenty of free on-street parking. Gym was nice, but had no exercise bike and the lights were on a motion sensor timer that turned off 30 minutes after entry, when I was in the middle of a workout. Final issue is that housekeeping did not vaccum the floor or replenish the coffee pods for the coffee machine

Nature-made issue

It was short but amazing. The Nashville area experienced severe thunderstorms that caused wide-spread flooding. The Hyatt Place had flooding in the basement that impacted the function of the elevators. When I checked in, I was offered an opportunity to cancel my reservation. I didn't mind climbing the stairs, and they accommodated me with a lovely room on the 2nd floor. The room was impeccable.

We stayed with our 2 kids for a weekend in Nashville. The staff was so kind and helpful. Shyrra, I believe her name was, especially. There was always free popcorn and water up front, cookies on our last day. The included breakfast was fairly good, lasting until 10 on the weekends. I was also able to get condiments from someone after hours for our takeout. Our 2 queen bed/pullout room with side sectional area was spacious. The bathroom offers full-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the shower. The airport was less than 20 minutes away, and Greenhills mall is two turns up the street. I was able to just charge things to our room without having to pay each time for the snacks, which was nice. This hotel is rated 4.8 on trip advisor, but 3.9 on google. So don't be fooled by that. We loved staying there. My only issue I find is the pay parking, which I feel should be free because you pay to stay there. But that seems to be the norm these days. However, it is on site and covered. Shyrra helped us get half off by joining the rewards program. The building is actually lovely, with lots of common areas and light. I believe we will definitely be staying there next time we hit town. Highly recommended. ☺️

The suite was very nice. The sitting area offered excellent separation from the bed area and everything was very tidy. One of the powered blinds didn’t function this however didn’t detract from the overall quality of the hotel. The free breakfast was adequate but nothing special and certainly not the worst I’ve ever been served.

Parking is an extra 30.00 to park in their lot a day which we weren't told after seeing a sign the gave a pass later or we would've been towed ! Our room door would not lock . Garbages overflowing in hallways , staff seemed unhelpful.. Ice machine didn't work on our floor maid said oh you go up or down one floor ... was t super impressed! Breakfast was pretty good

Friendly but understaffed

The staff was good but limited. The restaurant was closed because of understaffing. Since local restaurants closed at 9 pm, this was an issue for eating after a show.

Nice room but….

The room was very clean and seemed to have been recently renovated which was great. The bed was made without the flat sheet and when I called guest services they said I could come to the front desk to get one- this was odd to me and meant I had to remake the bed myself, but ok fine. The walls were thin and our neighbors were extremely loud late into the middle of the night so we weren’t able to go to sleep. So while the room was nice and clean, the overall experience was lacking.

We had a great stay! Super clean, really new. Bed was comfortable. My only suggestions / complaint would be 1) there’s no fan in the bathroom so it gets humid/steamy, and you don’t have a fan for other obvious reasons! 2) the windows to the outside are in view of just everyone else’s room windows from the side we were on, so we had to keep it closed the whole time which isn’t ideal for lighting or view. Not even window tint, you can see everyone’s beds! Kind of weird. Otherwise the whole stay was perfect!
