Dont stay in room 321! Our door literally didnt even completely shut! Who knows what happened in that room. But I didn't feel safe. If we hadn't prepaid and had the option of switching hotels we would've in a heartbeat. The top corner of the door had about a 1/4"-1/2" gap and then also the little eye hole cover to look out into the hallway from the room was bent so that you couldn't even close it. There was at least one outlet in the room that wouldn't work, directly behind the coffee maker in the corner. You can hear every single noise from room to room. Even though there are multiple rooms between 321 and the pool, there is nonstop music/party sounds. There was a party scheduled while we were there for a Saturday (completely understandable) it was supposed to end at 10:00pm and kept going until at least 11:00pm after other guests complained multiple times. And then lastly (that I will point out) is that the bathroom door isn't even hung straight so it won't close unless it is slammed shut. There is literal damage to the corner of the door. Apparently the hotel does not care about safety of guests or the maintenance of the hotel either.

Upgrade from a standard hotel and stay here!

This was the perfect place to stay just outside of Vanderbilt’s campus, especially if you want a little more room than a standard hotel would provide. We were in town for a college visit and checked out nearby Hillsboro Village and Gulch neighborhoods. There were plenty of amazing food and live music options just a couple minutes drive away. We were very impressed with the quality, spaciousness, cleanliness and overall atmosphere and will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Nashville!

Nice hotel, challenging location

The hotel itself is pretty good. The location is difficult to get in and out of. There is not adequate parking for check-in, and no parking available if you have friends stopping by or picking you up. Getting to and from the hotel is time-consuming around the morning and evening rush hours.

It was a lovely surprise! Feels like a boutique hotel. We love the cleanliness of the area and easy access to downtown, if it wasn’t so hot we could have walk more often. We walked downtown once, but probably nighttime coming back, uphill would have been a more challenging walk. The public bus from airport BNA to downtown #18 then transfer to #7 with a 7 min walk to hotel wasn’t bad at all, otherwise uber $45 would do. Plenty of restaurants around nicer than all honky tonks downtown. Live Music is everywhere! Location of hotel was great! Front desk staff China and Joshua were very polite and quick to respond to suggestions and concerns. They were awesome guiding us through the area. Housekeeping staff was not as attentive, we ran out of body wash brought it up right away, but during scheduled cleaning after 3 days, just left a stack towels and toilet paper on counter, and did not check levels of shampoo and conditioner. We had to call again! Floor wasn’t swept and living room not vacuumed. We had to specifically request at front desk for those issues to be addressed, and food garbage disposed of. Machine wash and dryer a big plus, we stayed 6 nights (extended) and they have detergent for sale and a few food items at lobby. Daily fresh coffee downstairs a great plus. A couple of coffee houses within minutes, breakfast place a very descent bagel place very close by. Do not order pizza from Little Chigago, it was frozen dominos not worth it. There’s no delis around.we’ll be back

I had a wonderful stay at Motif! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and my room was spotless and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. The bed was super cozy, and we slept better than we have in a long time thanks to the no windows and darkness. The hotel itself was quiet, beautifully maintained, and in a great location close to restaurants and shops. The amenities really stood out, fast Wi-Fi, a great fitness center, and a pool that, while on the shallow side, was still very relaxing to lounge by and unwind. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the excellent customer service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I truly felt taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Motif to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free stay.
