Remodeled Cabin, with creek, super close to Nashville

This historical 1700’s cabin has been upgraded to fit your needs for an amazing vacation of entertainment and relaxation. Only a 20 min drive from Nashville and just 5 minutes from local shopping and food. Our cabin is the perfect mix of city and country. It is located on a 5 acre shared estate. We encourage our guests to enjoy the creek and pavilion during during their stay. Early morning or evening hours are perfect for listening to the birds sing or watching the deer graze. We have placed a couple of hammocks at the creek for afternoon napping or creek side book reading. There are also some great sitting stones and a couple of benches for your enjoyment as well. The cabin has all your basic needs and is fully stocked with all the linens (towels and bedding) and cooking supplies one could need. Access to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom is via a ladder/style staircase. It’s steep but has handrails for your assistance. On the second floor you have a very large master with en suite bathroom, a stand up shower and closet. Basic shower soaps provided. The bedroom has a small sitting space and has been outfitted with a queen bed. There is ample natural light in the cabin and a cozy back porch. The porch faces a shared quart yard space between this cabin and a small cottage but each guest also has their own yard space. We are also conveniently located near a new park/coffee house “Legacy Park” and just a 5 min drive from interstate access to explore all the local fun. We have included a basket of Nashville site seeing flyers and some games for the evenings. As well as wifi and a “Roku smart tv” for the evenings you rather crash with a movie. Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! It was the perfect spot for my husband and me to spend a week exploring Nashville while avoiding the busy downtown area. The location was ideal—an easy drive to the city yet peaceful and relaxing. We loved starting our mornings with coffee under the pavilion and even spotted deer by the creek one evening before dinner. The host was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the nearby local restaurants. Highly recommend staying in one of the cozy cabins!

This cabin was a delight. If you enjoy history or just want a unique stay, this is your place. The price was incredible & the property itself was spotless. It is located on a very busy road, which made it harder to make a left hand turn, but definitely not impossible. The house itself was back far from the road, so the traffic isn't a nuisance at all. The only negative at ALL that we would mention, is the stairs. It still isn't a deal breaker - we would stay here again in a heartbeat. They just wouldn't work well for kids or my baby boomer mother.

This place was wonderful! It looked just like the pictures and as it’s described. I messed up when I booked it the first time and they immediately messaged me back to help me fix it. We are also new to visiting that area so we could not have been happier with how convenient the location was to everything. The gas station (Total Convenience store and BP) on the way in, was amazing and of course there was a Starbucks right there too!

A simple and cute cabin to getaway! It was prefectour anniversary, of 28 years!! All the places that the host recommended to visit and eat was great!! I highly recommend going to the brewery, Sam’s sports bar, and walking the park near by!! If you go to downtown Nashville, give yourself 30 minute drive! It’s worth it!! We will be back!! Thanks

We had to come to the area for a funeral and wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay. We were so pleased with our choice of this cabin. It was cozy, well maintained and in a location that was close to everything. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep. I had to have my husband carry up my suitcase. Not something that would prevent a future stay, just something to be aware of. If we are back in the area we would absolutely stay here again. Amanda was a wonderful host!!

For a couple of years now my husband and I have been staying at the smaller cabin on the property. We keep coming back because we absolutely love everything about it. Each year we enjoy checking out this cabin as well and have been waiting for it to be avaliable to stay in. The Burton's know what they are doing!!! We have stayed in many short term rentals throughout the contry over the years. Staying at the Burton's cabins has been by far the best experience we have had yet. This is a unique stay where history has been preserved for guests to have the experience of what life would have been like over 200 years ago, but with the modern conveniences we have come to enjoy and depend on. We first stayed here because of its proximity to Nashville, more recently we have found that we love the town of Hendersonville and spend most of our time either relaxing in the coziness of the cabin or enjoy the shopping and dining nearby. This is the perfect spot for the city boy and country girl to come together and enjoy a few days away from the busy life we leave behind. The kitchen is ready to go with everything you need. The sitting area is comfy with 2 couches, lots of games, and a chess board! The front porch is a great spot to sit and relax while bird and squirrel watching. Upstairs is very spacious with one of the most comfy beds ever. The full bath has everything needed complete with great lighting for makeup application. The cleanliness is outstanding!Nothing is missing.

The log cabin was amazing. It is located just off the highway but wildlife still comes into the yard. Sitting on the porch you don't realize you are close to the highway. 8 point buck, five doe's, squirrels and a groundhog all munched on the grass just yards from us. We need one thing and the owner was in touch and assisted us within five minutes. The cabin supplies anything you may have forgotten to pack. Thank you for a relaxing week!
