What a lovely stay we had at the lake cottage! The view was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful — the perfect setting to relax and recharge. Our host, Lance, went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, and he truly made us feel at home. One of the best parts was being able to bring our pups along with us, which made the trip even more special. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway and can’t wait to come back!

The home inside was cozy and clean. Outdoors leaves were falling and could not be helped. It had absolutely stunning views and my fur babies loved the lake. The neighbors in the area were the best. I would stay here again. Hopefully a little longer next time and bring our boat which can be docked on the dock with the property. It was a wonderful stay. So quiet and peaceful.

The host was very responsive and the house very clean. The challenges posed were the position of the toilet in the bathroom (knees almost touching the shower door) and the loud partying on the dock in the cove, and in the neighborhood which lasted until close to midnight. Since we were just there one night, we were disappointed about that. When we walked down to the shore to the left of the dock, the view was beautiful.

We had a fantastic stay in Lance's very clean, organized and well equipped home. The neighbors were all very kind and one even gave my hubby a ride on his boat. Our dog had as much fun as we did in the large yard and swimming in the lake. The cove is very fun with music and boats that hooked up most of the day. We will be back for sure. This house has all you need for 2-3 people 4 would fit at the 2nd room has a trundle bed, but it is a tight fit in the room. The furniture was top notch.

Great family spot

Enjoyed the cottage with my family. I asked to book one more night and the owner was quick to respond and made everything so easy. Location is beautiful and relaxing. Loved it so much we didn’t want to leave.

Peace

This cottage is a few short steps from the lake. The chance to visit nature was peacefuol and rejuvenating. The host was exceptional quick to respond to any needs we had. Inside the cottage is very warm and welcoming. The cove is a local hangout for young people on warm weekend days. They created no problem for us. It was fun to see them having a great time. If solitude is super important to you this may be helpful to know. Easy access to all we wanted to do in Nashville and the airport. We will be back someday! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Inside was clean. Outside was dirty and run down. Couldn’t sit on the toilet without hitting your head on the shower? Trash was left from people that stayed before us and the smell was horrible! Screens on patio needed cleaned. Stairs, boardwalk, picnic table , outside shower, needs work and dirty. Pictures online didn't match what we saw. Not worth the price.

Lovely Cabin on the Water

The cabin is small but perfect for a couple (with their dogs). The water access is perfect. The bathroom is a tight fit, so we literally sat sideways on the toilet. The cabin sits in a cove that is a popular party spot. There can be noise from the boats and a lot of traffic to get out of the cove. If you want quiet, this might be a problem. If you want to party, it's perfect. The cabin allows dogs, which was perfect for us! The neighbor has a dog that he often lets run free. The dog was on our porch several times a day, barked at night, and hung in our yard a lot, which isn't always great when you have your dogs. The neighbor also likes to play music at 7:30 AM and 10:30 PM. The dock also has super sharp corners that can cause a lot of damage to your boat if you don't walk the boat in the slip. The walkway from the grass to the dock is loose rock that is a challenge for anyone but would be a real hazard to anyone with mobility issues. The cabin owner has no control over the cove traffic or the neighbor's behavior. The cabin is lovely and well designed. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend the cabin to others.

Close to Nashville..walk around the neighborhood. Dog loved having the lake so close. Loved the screen porch! Had everything you needed!
