Resort conditions, staff, views, pools, lazy river, water slides, surfing pool, beach, rooms all 5 out of 5. Watching the cruise ships come in and out daily was an added bonus, especially for my children. Food quality was fine, but prices were high (especially alcohol). I've stayed at other places without all inclusive and never paid close to what I spent on this trip. I will assume this is not limited to Margaritaville as I understand food in general is expensive in the Bahamas. One day system was down and they couldn't "sell" me anything. Had to leave the resort to get a meal or a drink. If the internet is down, the oven and the grills still work. Write down on a piece of paper what I ordered and then charge me once the system is back up (or change your policy to accept cash. Some of us still like the old ways). It's really quite simple. Instead I had to drag my children out to town and find something that is still open past 5 o'clock. Good luck in a port town. I didn't travel to the Bahamas to eat McDonalds. Overall, a positive experience. If you're on a tight budget, this is probably not your best option. If you aren't worried about money and want to enjoy good food and drinks, highly recommend. Will I go back...not anytime soon.

Late checked in. Don't have a comfortable option to allow us to check in a little early. We waited since 12pm - over 5pm with NO WORDING. When we went to the front desk to ask, all we got was there were behind the schedule and there is no estimate of time. Then when we got the room, conditioner was out, the ice maker is broken, no laundry soap. We called the front desk to report, the issue, we got other refilled and a technician came up to the room, looked at the ice maker for 5 minutes. He said he needed to go down got his stuff and could be back in 10 minutes. But he never come back. The second day, we request it again. Similar thing happened. The third day, we were a little upset and felt uncomfortable without ice, we complained to the service center, we got another technician came looked at it for 5 minutes then about to went down, we had to request for a full bucket of ice to use. Then we survive just like that, no one actually fix it or change us to a better room. At checked out, I requested for a hard copy of the receipt so i could easily review items while waiting for my taxi to head out to the airport. The front office lady said she didn't have a printer, if I wanted, I had to go to the hotel next door to print it myself. To me, that is a bad service. I expected the lady to go print it and handed a hard copy to me since I was a guess and I didn't know how to navigate around. The resort view looks beautiful but weren't happy. We won't go back there.

The hotel store and ice cream shop staff were rude. My room wasn’t ready upon arrival which was check in time. I had to linger around about an hour and a half after the fact before I could get inside my room. The doormen that were onsite when we checked out were rude as well. Why even work in hospitality if you’re not a people person?! I plan on visiting Nassau again but not this resort.

The resort was well maintained and family friendly. Local eateries were abundant and within walking distance. My only compliant is the rooftop bar was closed throughout my visit. I definitely would visit again.
