A wonderful experience, very relaxing with easy access to tourist activities and restaurants 😀. We were pleasantly surprised by the Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. The name brought up memories of a one-story road-side hotel. While it was road-side, it was two stories with 10 units. We walked in to a very nice two-bedroom unit with a living room and kitchenette. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was well-stocked. Our unit was sunny with a private balcony. The on-site manager, Dean, was friendly and helpful with good suggestions for dinner out. We were able to walk to center city. I would definitely recommend the spacious, two-bedroom unit in downtown Nelson.

the Manager is delightful and so very helpful. Parking is a challenge and, as a mobility sticker holder, i do wish people who don't have mobility stickers and don't need mobility carparks wouldn't park there. I'd happily give them my disability ...... but it might not suit their 'lifestyles'.

Fanatastic stay!

This was a great find. We were greeted by Dean who was extremely helpful with finding us a place to eat and things to do. It was an easy walk into Nelson, about 15 minutes. Highly recommended

Awesome!

We had such a great stay! Dean and Tomoko arranged for us to have an easy out-of-hours check-in which was super helpful and stress-free. Prompt responses via email to organise as well. The room was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Dean was friendly and greeted us in the morning. Great location and close to everything. Parking was also available. Definitely recommend! :)
