Gorgeous Condo Historic Gruene with pool!

3/3 condo. Sleeps 8. Master: King. 2nd Master: King. 3rd bedroom loft: Queen. Living Room: Sofa Sleeper. No smoking. 2 dogs under 40 lbs, $25 per day per dog. MUST BE 25 to rent. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

Gruene's newest Resort Community boasting beautiful new condo's, private parking, only half of a mile to all Gruene offerings... Old Mill Resort is the perfect place to stay whether a romantic getaway, family outing or just the peaceful setting to relax and reconnect with friends. Take a dip in the pool or relax in the shade under the pavilion. Our 1700 square foot fully furnished condo is conveniently located 1/3 mile from Historic Gruene and Rockin R Tube Rentals. Less than 2 miles to the Comal River Tube Chute, Schlitterbahn and 3 miles to downtown New Braunfels. Take in the live music, dancing, great food, shopping and antique shops during your stay.

This fully furnished 3-bedroom condo is on the 2nd floor (no elevator). There are 2 master suites with king size beds. The 3rd bedroom is an upstairs loft with queen bed. All 3 bedrooms have cable, Smart TV and private en suite bathroom with deep soaking tub/shower combo. Premium linens and hotel size bathroom amenities provided. Fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for convenience. 2 communal charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). Comfortable seating in the living room with a queen sofa sleeper cable, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The pool is open from 9 AM - 9 PM.

Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. 2 vehicles allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor are of this complex is monitored by video camera. This rental includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Good stay and we felt safe. The place was clean overall, but upon going to bed, we noticed quite a bit of hair on the pillows. Then noticed more in the grooves of the bed. Very very dusty fans and dresser tops. I realized that they allowed dogs so it would have been a mix of dog hair and human hair. Either way, it does need to be dusted and vacuumed on the sides of the beds.

Great location, quiet at night but close to downtown Gruene entertainment and shopping. The unit was very clean and comfortable beds. Great layout for 3 adult couples. Some construction next to the buildings, new one going in but no work in the evening or weekends. Will definitely stay here again using New Braunfels Escapes!

This place was nice, and very clean. The furniture was very comfortable. I did not like finding out it was an upstairs unit when we got there. Then upstairs again for whoever had the upstairs room inside. I feel like that fact should have been in the description. This place didn’t have great water pressure in the shower, and needed more hooks for towels/robes. I was also told after the fact, that we were only aloud 2 parking spaces. We had 4 cars going. That became a problem. I feel like any rules like that should be listed with the bedrooms on VRBO.

Unit was clean with comfortable beds and better than average VRBO kitchen equipment. We had a real problem with our stay as there were two major issues. The first was non stop hammering and sawing due to construction 30 feet from our bedroom and living room windows from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Not possible to have a restful vacation. Also the building is a low water unit which means the shower is so inadequate you can’t wash shampoo from your hair or adequately rinse your body without using a cup to accumulate water and splash on yourself. When I asked to move to a unit to accommodate our need of 3 bedroom and min of 3 bath they didn’t have anything available not to mention the service company was rude and acted like they were doing me a favor to offer us a place with less space. Not happy at all and do not recommend Hidden Gem of Gruene

Convenient & Cute!!!

We loved our recent stay at these beautiful condos. It was roomy, clean, and super cute with very comfy beds. The location is fantastic—just a short walk/drive to Gruene. The outdoor common area made for a great spot to sip our morning coffee. Access to a grill was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Nice unit. Excellent bedding. The sofa sleeper should not be considered for sleeping - mattress very thin and uncomfortable due to springs. But other beds and bedding were marvelous. On call personnel very helpful with late night noisy neighbors. Would use this mgmt companys properties again.

My Wife was impressed

I was tasked with finding a place for 6 of us (all friends) to stay near San Antonio. After days of searches, I selected a Vrbo in Gruene and boy am I glad I did. The place was fantastic. The location (Gruene) was a gem we were not expecting. First, the Vrbo residence worked perfectly for us. 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms with a very comfortable common area where we could all relax in. A true full kitchen, with all the tools, utensils, was perfect (could use an air fryer, hint hint). Gruene, itself, was a gem of a location. Winery, antiquing, and many other shops and restaurants very close. The area was rural, away from city lights and quite relaxing. But, it was close enough to major arteries for us to get to San Antonio and other points of interest. We'll definitely be using Vrbo again in the future for our next adventure. We recommend you stay in Gruene if you are planning a trip to the San Antonio area for your next trip.

My teen children and I stayed here to attend a family wedding. The condo was very clean when we arrived. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. I was very impressed with the easy of check in and check out. If we ever visit again, we will certainly stay here again.

Family Vacation

Old Timers in Gruene

The perfect place for three couples. We love that we all have our own restrooms. But if there is one criticism, they send SO many text messages asking if you need anything. When I called and asked for an additional trash bag, I was told they only supplied a couple complimentary ones until we could get we could get to the store and buy some. We we’re staying 2 days, seems excessive to buy trash bags.

Wonderful accommodations

We were there for 3 nights for a family wedding. The location was perfect 1/2 mile from the Gruene shops. The condo was very clean. Communication was very easy and fast. Our only complaint was there was no salt and pepper. We will definitely come again.
