DO NOT STAY HERE!

Girl at front desk wasn't present. First room was super hot, smelled sour had dust and dirt under the bed just past the broom sweep. Very outdated and broken furniture and the sink wouldn't drain and black stuff came up. The shampoo and other containers were not sealed, this is a concern. Lamp shade looked like a crime scene with splatter on it. Over all we were shocked. We walked to front desk to complain about the sink not draining and we were moved to another room. This was at almost 9pm. A charger was accidentally left in first room and nobody was at front desk and the emergency number on the door said wait until next day! Next day person at front desk gave my partner the MASTER key card to enter our previous room to get charger. This is some sort of safety breach I would imagine. I don't like complaining like this but we would never ever recommend The Willow Bend to anyone. The front desk person told me partner to leave a good review! YIKES! Paid $140.... worth $35

It was mostly good

The only bad thing about the hotel was our room had a very strong smoke smell, but the room itself was clean. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly

$30 extra for inaccessible room

I payed $30 for what was supposed to be a more accessible room only to find the door to the bathroom was 24 inches (actual entry 22.5" wide). My wife had to turn her walker side ways to get in and needed my assistance as there were no hand rails near the lower than standard toilet. We will never stay there again.

Pretty good. Second stay there in a week. Not sure why they have power outages in that particular small area. First stay was a power outage later in the evening for nearly 2 hours, second stay power was out upon arrival but was restored shortly after. (both times WERE NOT THE FAULT OF THE PROPERTY). I'm thinking just poor luck timing

There was garbage outside the room, the sheets were dirty, the room phone didn’t work. The place did not feel welcoming, it felt unsafe. We did not stay. We checked out within 10 minutes. I would not recommend this property to anyone. They also refused to return my payment for the room.

I've always been a big fan of this motel. Staying many times through the years. Most recent stay I see they switched from keys to key cards which seemed fine but odd there is no additional lock on the door. It was surprising and perhaps just the one room I was in but I would suggest that's a big need for guests to feel safer. Still would plan a visit in the future.
