Beautiful, environmentally friendly hotel. Staff was wonderful and the restaurant and lounge area was great. Loved the free parking. The lights etc take a while to get used to and the bathroom lights are very dim. Its right on the interstate.

The room was clean, and the gym facilities were excellent. I appreciated the cool bar area and the meeting spaces. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. On the downside, the elevators were slow, and the air conditioning in my room could have been cooler. Additionally, I found that the shower door opens inward, and I believe it would be more efficient if it opened outward.

Great value at Hotel Marcel! Comfortable bed, decent-sized room, good bathroom, and impressive sustainability efforts. Only downside: the automated panel lights up whenever you move in bed. Still a solid choice for eco conscious travelers!

I was only there for one night so my review will be based off of that. The hotel itself is nice, clean, with a restaurant/bar (that I didn’t dine at so unfortunately no review on that). Check-In There was a guest checking in before me. He was offered bottled water by the young lady checking him in which I thought was a nice little touch. Then it was my turn to check in. I was greeted, but Unfortunately I was not offered water-which left me with so many questions….issue #1. Room I get to my room-thirsty lol- which again-clean, air conditioned, etc. And then I quickly learned that everything is ran by one of those electronic Bluetooth key pad thingys…the lights, the air, the curtains…everything except the tv. Long story short-I couldn’t get the lights to turn back off after I accidentally turned them on, nor could I get the temperature to change. I kept tapping and clicking and so on, but nothing worked. After about 15 seconds the system rebooted itself, came back on…and still didn’t work. Bring back the light switches & manual thermostats pls! Issue #2. The shower The shower door doesn’t slide to open and close. It opens and shuts like a regular door. Here’s the problem-it opened INTO the shower. So you turn the water on, but you’re definitely going to get about 2.5 seconds of water on the floor trying to close the door. All in all, I came to get a good nights rest and I did, so nothing to complain about there!

Fantastic hotel and amenities. Great other than an unusually inefficient check-in process with a single overworked clerk who was dealing with a line of folks and a couple of customer phone calls simultaneously.
