Welcome to New Orleans! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, your private guest house is a stones throw from the surrounding restaurants, shops, and attractions. Here, we know how to live it up with grace and style. Come immerse yourself in the true experience, where white tablecloths still cover two-tops, the waiter knows both your name and your preferences, while you listen to the lively city echoing through the streets.

This PRIVATE guest suite abounds with special amenities including a private entrance, SmartTV in the living area, mini kitchen, and full en suite bath. PLEASE NOTE: the owners live on the other side of the house, so please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum. Quiet Hours (9PM-7AM) are STRICTLY enforced!

Our bright and open guest suite is the perfect setting for a 2 guests, or single traveler looking to take in the city. The bedroom features a plush Queen bed with en suite full bath and washer/dryer combo.

***Please note: the A/C unit for the home is mounted on a platform that`s attached to the house per local building code. This setup can cause a slight vibration that can be heard inside the house when the unit is running. If you`re extra-sensitive to that sort of thing, this might be something to consider before booking. 99% of guests never even mention it, but it`s been brought to our attention once or twice, so we wanted to make guests aware***

The guest suite is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with kitchen essentials, bathroom toiletries, iron & ironing board, linens and towels (including extra towels and makeup towels) for your stay.

We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city.

Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.

Guests will have access to the entire guest house.

** There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. **
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4.Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Additionally, smoking anywhere on the building grounds is strictly prohibited. Please step out to the street and off of the property if you must smoke.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, all platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the property.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash is picked up on Mondays. Please bring the can to the curb.

17. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through after your additional time has been approved.

19. On your stay, you may encounter Doug, the Owner`s dog. He is super friendly and loves people! He stays in the owner`s unit on the premises, and does not enter the guest unit. However, if you are adverse to dogs or have severe allergies, please be advised that there is one on the property.

20. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
