Great Service, pretty clean, great location

I found the room comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and liked the size and placement of the tv. The shower was nice and hot and good pressure. I liked the coffee in the lobby and the service was great. We had an issue with getting our room cleaned, but it was resolved after we talked it over with the front desk attendant. I loved the location in the French quarter and the restaurant next door was good quality and easy to access. The shower was tiny but still big enough to use and I had to go into it to turn on the faucet and jump back out before getting sprayed. Tricky! The walls and ceilings seemed thin since I could hear everything going on outside my room.

Good location, friendly staff, small hotel, which I prefer. The weird things we noticed: since the showers don’t have a full door, water will get all over the bathroom floor, and the room phone didn’t work: Otherwise, it’s a decent option on Decatur Street.

You can hear everyone walking in the unit above , people blasting music in the units until 3 am and the manager didn’t do anything about it …bathroom shower set up is stupid and water spills on the floor …

I checked in Mon 2/10 early and the woman at the front desk was the sweetest (I forget her name but shes the one I saw the most during my stay). The room was cute and very boutique and French Quarters. The location was the best bc it was within comfortable walking distance to everything. The whole staff was friendly. I felt safe due to the double door that needs a key card. The restaurant was pleasant as well.. Now, what was weird was the only trash can was in the bathroom so there wasn't anywhere in the room to put my trash. When housekeeping came while i was out they didnt take the trash so my trash piled up, and the tv kept cutting out. After i left I was charged for something that Im unsure of ans when I emailed them to aak for the details on the charge, I never got a response back. Those are the only minor cons. I would consider staying here again when I return but not quite sure.

The hotel is friendly and accommodating in every way. Very convenient location in the French Quarter! Unfortunately, we experienced a very disruptive guest in the middle of the night that disturbed all guests around them. The hotel staff did act on all of the complaints.

First time in New Orleans and the stay was pretty perfect! Location was very walkable and safe and secure. Staff were amazing. Great littke resturant right outside that I went back to twice it was so good. Only complaint was the beds were a little hard! Would stay again!

La Galerie is a beutiful boutique New Orleans hotel, close to everything the French Quarter has to offer, yet convenient to Canal Street transportation. The front desk attendants are excellent, even remembering my name! Plus the on-sight restaurant was superb!! Would definitely stay there again during future visits!
