The location was great, within walking distance of everything including the French Quarter and downtown New Orleans. The staff was great, very helpful and welcoming. The room was also very clean and housekeeping was excellent when we needed toiletries! Will be returning!

Loved staying here. Clean, comfortable and quiet. A nice refuge of peacefulness. Old building with character but very clean and convenient. Fantastic location for attending conference at near big hotels. Really excellent, helpful staff. I forgot something in room after checkout and they notified me and helped me get it back. Highly recommended!

Overall it was a pretty good stay. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was a bit cold in the shower due to only having a glass covering on half of it. It was also hard not to get water on the floor. Appreciated the AC system. Lots of hotels rooms are hard to keep cool, but that was not a problem here. Liked that it had a fridge and microwave, as well as a nook in the wall for storage space. Hall carpet was pretty stained on our floor, not a huge deal, but something that’s noticeable. Parking was a bit of a hassle as well as pricey, but that’s common in the area. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the coffee and water in the lobby. Location was great, extremely walkable with lots of good restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel was more than I thought it would be. The vibe overall was just as powerful and comfortable as my own home. It felt like I was on a journey from old new Orleans history to the present days of southern charm ,friendly people and a charm all its own. I am glad that I chose this hotel tonight. The prices were very fair may I also add.

I spent the day & stayed one night on my way back to Florida following a two night trip to Mississippi.. this was all the time I had to spend in NOLA so I wanted to stay and have a little more time before my drive home. The room and hotel overall was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Water and coffee refreshments available in lobby 24/7. The location was convenient, walking distance to many desirable spots including shopping, dining, French Quarter, Bourbon Street, aquarium, the casino, etc. My ONLY complaint is the parking. Hotel does offer parking (inquire about cost and how it works as I didn’t use this option). I was luckily able to find street parking right around the corner from the hotel that was free because I stayed Sunday-Monday. I woke up at 8 to put money on the meter for a couple hours then again at 10 for an hour so I could prepare to check out. Other parking options within a couple blocks away were $50+ for 7pm-11am so I’m glad I was able to avoid that. Beyond this parking issue (this was a problem with ALL hotels I found in this area), it was a great stay and I’ll return if I come back to visit.
