I was really looking forward to my trip to New Orleans and staying at the Marriott. The check in staff are very friendly, the valet however was awful, yelling and screaming at customers. Once inside the hotel the king “suites” are tiny and the bathrooms are almost impossible to move around in (I’m 6’ 170lbs) The hotel claimed the pool was heated but the water was 60 degrees and everyone that came down to get into the pool wasn’t able to. The noise and crime nearby is substantial and not safe at night. Overall it was a letdown.

Had a great stay at the New Orleans Marriott! The highlight was the amazing service from Leanna Wallace at the front desk—she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with a room upgrade and a special package. The hotel was clean, well-run, and in a great location. Only small issue was the bed—one side felt like it was sinking in a bit, so the mattress might need replacing. Still, everything else was great and Leanna’s hospitality truly made the experience 5 stars. Looking forward to staying again!

Location is everything. This property is close enough to the French Quarter without the noise. The property is a bit dated with mild smells. However, it does meet my approval for a safe/clean stay
