Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the studio.

Algiers Point has a rhythm all its own - quieter than the Quarter, but woven from the same threads of New Orleans soul. From this ground-floor loft, tree-lined streets and historic facades frame every stroll, the Mississippi rolls just a short walk away, and the French Quarter is a $2 ferry ride across the water.
 
Living space
Natural light moves through the open layout, connecting the living, dining, and sleeping areas into one cohesive, easy-to-inhabit space. A dedicated workspace with desk and table keeps you connected if work follows you on the road, and fast Wi-Fi means streaming or video calls stay smooth. A curated vinyl crate and record player add a distinctly New Orleans touch to any evening in.
 
Entertainment
The 65-inch HDTV comes loaded with HBO Max, Apple TV, Chromecast, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video - more than enough to fill a lazy afternoon or a late night in. A selection of books is also on hand for quieter moments.
 
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom centers on a king bed dressed in cotton linens, with room-darkening shades, extra pillows, and extra blankets ensuring your nights are as restful as you need them to be.
 
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked and ready to use - Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, hot water kettle, and a drip coffee maker with coffee provided. Cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a toaster, and a baking sheet round out the setup. Pull up a seat at the dining table for meals at home, or use the kitchen as your base before heading out to Barracuda tacos or local cafés nearby.
 
Bathroom
The private bathroom features a stand-up shower with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel provided. Fresh towels, a hair dryer, and hot water complete the essentials.
 
Extras & comfort
Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan keep the temperature dialed in year-round. An iron, hangers, and clothing storage are available, and a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and one exterior security camera at the entry door are all in place for your peace of mind.
 
Getting around
Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. The $2 Algiers ferry is a short walk away, putting Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, and all the color of the French Quarter within easy reach.
 
Good to know
Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival simple. Pets are welcome. Luggage drop-off and long-term stays of 28 days or more are both accommodated.
