Cottage type private house in quiet neighborhood

Formerly a hired hand house on the farm that was here, this tiny but roomy home has been carefully restored to its original open concept with all new wiring, plumbing, insulation, windows and doors. The original floors were repaired and refinished. The large leaded glass-doored cupboard was salvaged from a house that burned, restored, and built into this house. Recently internet, wifi and netflix were installed. Carefully furnished with comfortable and practical items to make your stay here as relaxing as possible, the house is cozy and quiet. The fenced yard and the gardens insure privacy and a pleasant setting. Morning sun makes the back porch great for early coffee and sometimes wildlife watching; afternoon and evening sun makes the front porch warm and good for contemplation. A maximum of two pets 50 lbs. or less will be considered for acceptance with a pet fee of $10 per pet per night.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be within walking distance of Tuscarawas County Welcome Center. Features include laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cottage.

Host gave us privacy and the house was the right size for the two of us. It was hard to keep the house warm and there was limited supplies. A few kitchen utensils/supplies was limited or didn’t exist and blankets were limited for how cold it was.

Such a cute place. Had A rustic cottage feel. Very small but worked great for us. House was well stocked with supplies. Host was easy to communicate with. Lots of places to go in New Phili. Driveway is incredibly narrow. I don't have a large car but i wasn't able to pull up the drive because i wouldn't be able to get out of my car. It would have helped if the plants by the porch had been cut down.

Great base for a litle getaway

We love older homes wirh history and character, and this little cottage is brimming with charm. We were grateful to bring along our two precious pups. The space was exactly what we needed. For us, it was one base for a day in Amish country, but there are many places to visit nearby. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

It was a nice place for a quick getaway, 20 minute drive to Amish country, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. House in a quiet neighborhood, with fenced in backyard, perfect for medium to small dog. Host communicated often and check-in was a breeze. Would recommend to others.

Girls long weekend

We stayed 20 minutes from Amish country in a cute neighborhood. We enjoyed The Farm, where we experienced an Amish wagon ride and fed various animals with our friendly driver, Henry!! So much fun!! The fall colors were unbelievable and we couldn't have picked a better time. The variety of yummy foods and Amish snacks are worth the destination. Friendly people and cute shops made our trip!
