We have stayed lots over the last few years when visiting family. We love staying here as its standards are great and the staff always welcoming and friendly. We usually travel with our dog who is also made to feel welcome which we haven’t found at other hotels. Would recommend this hotel!

A great hotel close to the motor with gym, and pool included. Friendly helpful staff made check in and check out simple and welcoming. Nice evening meal in the restaurant which was well staffed and served good quality hot food. Overall a great stay and I will be returning in the near future without doubt.

Amazing stay shame about the food

We had an amazing stay, the bathroom was on the small size but was all clean. Had a meal on Sunday and unfortunately after waiting nearly half an hour, my fish was uneatable as it was over cooked and dry. Refund was given but no one apologise .

IHG ok, easy parking

Have stayed maybe 5 times in 12 months here, its ok, can be a little too hot in winter and is typically noisy as its so busy. Food is excellent , both evening and breakfast. Staff are top notch. Cleaning staff are over keen in the morning. I had late check out (1pm) standard is 10am 11am if you ask. I had 1pm by discretion and put the hanger out, 1st knock came at 9am, i explained i had late check out, the supervisor sent him back to ask again when i was leaving around 9:30. To which i advised 1pm. At 10am the same chap knocked again and asked if i was ready to leave, i repeated i had late check out, he came back 15 mins later to say i need to speak to reception to get late check out, his supervisor has asked him to clean. I explained this was already arranged with reception. He went away then knocked repeatedly while i was on a teams call, opening the door which was on a chain. I eventually had to apologise and mute, opened the door (11am) and had to explain again! I asked him to send his supervisor if there was an issue. They didn't appear, but i left once the call was finished!

The staff were excellent,very friendly and helpful. The room was good and the shower was excellent. It would have been nice to have a fridge, but not essential. The food was good but a bit expensive. The pool was okay but it and the changing rooms looked very tired.

It was a convenient hotel… the bed /pillows not too comfortable. The hot tub was closed, which was disappointing… as it didn’t state anywhere it was, until we were poolside. Breakfast - the food was good, but there were no tables ready for use (9.15am) and it doesn’t look welcoming to see dirty plates and cups on many tables and having to wait. Once a table was ready, were no plates for the hot buffet - a waitress did apologise and said there had been 160 for breakfast- they were all working flat out, but definitely needed more staff!
