Set on the banks of the River Severn, and boasting a good selection of pubs and restaurants as well as excellent shopping, this historic market town is famous for its arts and music with museums, art galleries and theatre for visitors to enjoy. Close by, the grounds of Gregynog Hall offer year round interest including extensive woodland with waymarked walks and fine trees, rhododendrons and spring bulbs. Gardening enthusiasts and history lovers too will also delight in a visit to Powis Castle, 16 miles, a medieval fortress soaring dramatically above its world famous gardens. Now in the care of the National Trust, the castle houses a superb collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture, tapestries and treasures from India. For keen bird watchers, a trip to the town of Rhayader (20 miles) will be rewarded by the spectacular daily display of the red kite feeding station. Golf, tennis and riding are available nearby. Brilliant place to get away from it all

Everything worked out just as hoped for - The owner is a lovely lady who couldn't have been more friendly and co-operative. Very much appreciated. The premises is absolutely lovely and was home from home. We all loved it, thank you very much.

Amazing stay!

I stayed here with my family from which there were 9 of us and two dogs. The place was amazing, spacious and catered for all of us. The hot tub and sheep as neighbours were a highlight for us and offered great views of the rolling hills. Would stay again for sure.
