A home away from home, complete with a convenient kitchen, we provide all the essentials in the cabinets—fast firewall-protected 5g wifi with a space to work and more to relax. Arise to an instant hot shower and a quick Keurig brew, and secure your suite with a press of a button before heading into town. We trust you will enjoy our unmatched amenities.
The furnished one-bedroom hotel-like apartment features a solid commercial entry door, deadbolt & security latch, laminated glass windows, and commercial grade interior fire & sound-rated separation walls. A dual tankless water heater and two mini-split head units in the living room and bedroom provide unmatched climate control. Fill the refrigerator, load the Dishwasher, make a meal in the microwave or cook a home meal on the stovetop; we provide all the essentials in the cabinets.

When facing The Rosalie, enter the drive aisle on the right of the building, look for our "Welcome Please Enter Here" sign. Continue to the back lot, where you will see seven parking spaces. Please only use two spaces. (If you have guests or additional vehicles, parking on the street is limited to 2 hours, Mon-Sat, and unlimited parking on Sunday.)
Once parked, face The Rosalie and head toward the ramp-accessible rear porch; suite Four will be on your left. Look for the door with the sign "Suite Four" and enter your code to complete our seamless self-check-in process!
Keep peace of mind while you're home or away as The Rosalie's, Ring security cameras border the exterior and are constantly recording video and audio. In the Kitchen of each suite, there will be a Minut decibel monitor. We ask that sound in each unit remain at a respectable level. Please keep in mind these systems only monitor decibel levels and do not record sound. Our goal is to ensure quiet enjoyment for all guests.

Pros and Cons

The welcome email contained a reservation code that I wrongly assumed was what needed to get punched into the key pad on the door. It was EXTREMELY hot and my husband isn't in the best health, so getting in quickly was top priority. It didn't work. After multiple attempts, I tried to contact the host, then the VRBO helpline. As I was waiting on VRBO to access my account, another party of guests arrived. They informed us that you must enter the last four of your telephone number as the key code - and it worked! This information was not provided in the email and would have save a lot of stress had it been there. We got in and began to unpack. There were marks and scrapes on multiple walls, the shower liner was dirty, as was the shower stall itself. The water pressure was extremely poor - more of a dribble rather than an instant hot shower. There were two (unopened) complimentary conditioners and a partially used lotion. The flooring was bowing and coming unglued in multiple places. Definitely not ideal for those with mobility issues. The stove had one burner that worked. The coffee station had no coffee, only two teas and two packets of sugar. Overall, we were prepared for basic accommodations considering the price point, but the cleanliness problem is a concern that must be addressed. I have reached out to both the host and VRBO with detailed videos/photos and feedback, yet it's been two weeks without any response from either party.

This clean modern Vrbo offers a quiet personal space that opens up to the beauty of Ghent and Downtown Norfolk amenities. I stay here everytime I'm in town and refuse to choose another place!

Quiet and easily accessible

The place is well kept, clean and modern. Easily accessible to walking to so many places in Ghent, Sentara and downtown. I would definitely stay here again!
