Hotels states that the city view room has a balcony and it does not so beware. The lady at the desk was very accommodating and gave us a balcony room. When we got in our room, the balcony door wouldn’t unlock. We had to use something to bang the lock out. Then the door wouldn’t open. We eventually figured it out. We informed the front desk and they took note. The room has absolutely no space to put anything except the fold down desk. The hooks on the walls were very handy but I prefer a tv around or table. There were stains on hallway carpet and in the shower. Water pressure sucks. Also, not having things like an ice bucket and and iron board…to name a few…in the room is very inconvenient. Theres also no microwave but some rooms have a mini fridge. I can’t say that I wouldn’t stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. I absolutely adore the lobby though. It was fun. Oh and you get a free drink upon check in.

We complained about no hot water , we were informed that it was a boiler issue , on the second day of stay , same issue . We also had a noise complaint from the room next to us . We have stayed at this hotel several times , this was not the norm.

The overall concept of the hotel was appealing; however, the actual experience fell far below expectations. I arrived on time for check-in and was initially issued a key to a room that had not been cleaned and still contained another guest’s luggage. I returned to the front desk and was reassigned a different room, but that room was also unclean. The toilet had visible dried urine. When housekeeping was called, the staff member used the same rag to wipe the underside of the toilet lid and then proceeded to clean the top of the toilet seat and surrounding areas, which was extremely concerning from a sanitation standpoint. Additionally, the ice machine dispensed ice uncontrollably, spilling ice chips everywhere when used. The hallways throughout the hotel were dark and appeared unclean. Overall, this was not a good experience and did not meet basic cleanliness or hospitality standards

The room was in fair condition. The hallways need updating from paint on wall to carpet. To say it’s a newer hotel, it’s definitely getting beat up quickly, and to say it’s part of Marriott. The TV didn’t work for streaming, but I also don’t feel like calling maintenance to trouble shoot. The shower looked dirty and not in the best condition, but it could. be a matter of just using a magic eraser to get the deep grime off the type of material the shower floor is made of. The shower water would drop temperature every few minutes then turned cold in a less than 10 minute shower. The build is definitely cheaper workmanship because you could hear the plumbing above and next to you, as well as feel the water difference with the flushes from other rooms. Granted it was the holiday, diner was closed, although was told ahead of time it would be open. Overall, if you like you for drinking, I would say it’s the only thing going for it. I don’t drink heavy, so it was not much for me outside of that.
