Tervetuloa Hidden Oasis Oak Islandiin!

Suuri 3-tason Charleston-tyylinen ranta-asunto, jossa on oma laituri, joka ylittää eristäytyneen lammen ja alas oma yksityinen kelluva telakka Davisin kanavalle. Tämä ainutlaatuinen kulmapaikka sijaitsee merinäköalalla ja tarjoaa pääsyn rannalle vain muutaman kadun päässä!

Avaruus

Oak Islandin piilotettu keidas on lomapaikka sinänsä - ota merinäköala yhdestä neljästä suuresta kansista nauttien aamukahvia, kävele yksityisellä laiturilla luonnonvaraisen lammen yli kelluvaan telakkaan, joka tarjoaa pääsyn kalastukseen, melontaan ja paddleboarding ja tilaa pysäköidä vesiskootterisi tai veneesi kanavalle, ottaa aurinkoa ja uida rannalla vain muutaman kadun päässä, sitten tuuli alas paahtamalla vaahtokarkkeja palo-kuopan ympärillä tähtitaivaan taivaan alla.

Tämä 4 makuuhuoneen yksilöllisesti rakennettu Charleston-tyylinen perhekoti on rakennettu kaikkien kellojen ja pillien avulla, jotta lomastasi jää unohtumaton. Oleskelutilat ovat avoimia ja ilmavia, korkeat katot ja merinäköala, ja niissä on täydellinen keittiö, jossa on runsaasti istuimia ja huippuluokan viimeistelyjä. Voit rentoutua porealtaassa tai virkistäytyä pitkän päivän jälkeen rannalla kaakeloidussa suihkussa, jossa on sadepää ja 6 erilaista suihkua, jotka luovat autonpesun kehollesi.

Great option for large family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is large and had something for everyone in our group: games, walkway to canal, many deck options, close to beaches and shopping. It was clean, but not spotless (I understand-it’s a large house!). Communication was easy and maintenance issues were dealt with promptly. We were saddened that the lot next door is being cleared for new multi-house construction. However, we still recommend it and plan to return ourselves.

Something for Everyone…And then some!

Its our last night and i am so sad to leave this slice of heaven and return to reality tomorrow. Between fishing off the dock, kayaks if you want to use them, hot tub to enjoy you watch the cattails sway in the breeze and see the herrin flying overhead….all while the kids are in their own domain having a ping pong tourney and challenge each others’ high scores in your personal arcade room. Plenty of porches to sneak off to and take in a quiet moment.and the dogs had exactly what they needed in the backyard. We did see a gator on the property but he did his own thing. It’s close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Couldn't ask for more out of our time here…it has everything!

Relax station

Every family member had positive things to say. Loved the front deck, fishing pier and hot tub! The basement was a huge hit with the grown adult kids. They loved having their own area to play all the arcade games & ping pong. We got our steps in. lol Overall rating A.

Good option with limits

Overall good place to stay. Lack of elevator a problem for older or physically impaired since kitchen/living area on the third floor. 5th bedroom on lower level with no separation from game room and no bathroom a problem for anyone other than kids.

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood.

Visited with family to celebrate anniversary. The house had many amenities: kayaks, games, puzzles, books, hot tub, fire pit and a fenced in yard. Kitchen was well equipped, but appliances were a little quirky. If you worked in the corner of the countertop, you had to be very careful because the stovetop was easily bumped on and the fridge's icemaker didn't work so you had to use a countertop icemaker. The house is 3 levels with the kitchen on top. The only level that you can walk into without steps is the basement which has no bathroom. There is a fenced in yard. There are multiple balconies. An inlet runs behind the house with a private boardwalk to a small dock. There is no view of the beach. From the 3rd floor balcony, you can see the ocean on the horizon. The walk to the beach is about 8 blocks with sidewalks. However, if you want to drive down with your umbrella, cooler, etc...parking at the public access is $20 per day. We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable and very nice. If your goal is easy access to the beach or beach views, this is not the best fit though.

Solid rental option!

If you are looking for a unique property on Oak Island this is for you. We loved the views of the marsh, canal and ocean. It's high up on a hill so the upper level views are fantastic. We'll or sure be back and bring a larger family which this home can definitely accommodate.

Not really the best experience

Still waiting on the full refund for some reason it was shorted $7.00 and therefore it was listed as a partial refund. I have reached out to the rental organization and they stated they have contacted the owners and received no response and therefore cannot refund any of my fees fully until the owner corrects the refund to full instead of partial which was changed from a three night to a one night yet we never even stayed one full night. We were at this property less than seven hours total. Sadly disappointed in this experience with these owners and the lack of cleanliness and responsiveness. Overall most people seem to have had a very good experience, but it is not somewhere I would rent again.

Perfect for Bachelor Trip

We booked this house for my buddy’s bachelor trip. 10 total dudes went and this place was absolutely PERFECT for a getaway with the fellas. The arcade was awesome. Tons of games and things to do. Private pier was sweet. Could not have asked for a more fitting place to get a bunch of guys together to celebrate our friends upcoming wedding.

Family Fun

Our 12 person, 3-generation family had a great time at this great house. Half mile walk to the beach was fine for all but the smallest. The 5th bedroom was adequate for the single male in our group, but not a 'traditional' bedroom, in the sense it didn't have the privacy that one expects. The host was responsive, and the one minor issue we had with the hot tub was resolved promptly. Would consider staying their again.

The Hidden Oasis provided a great winter getaway for our family of all ages. The firepit, hot tub, game and arcade rooms offered something for everyone to do no matter what the weather. The house had everything that we needed and more.

Great stay overall. Plenty of room for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Close to the beach. House was well equipped, could have used a few more towels but there was a washing machine. Lots of entertainment options. Owner was responsive when there was a problem with the shower head. Overall very nice.

Great spot in oak island

Great property, so many outdoor spaces to relax and the arcade was really fun. Note that the kitchen/living area is in the 3rd floor - it wasn’t a problem for us but mobility limited people should consider it. Hosts were kind and super responsive! Location is fantastic

Perfect place for a friend reunion!

8 of us stayed in the house and we enjoyed every minute we were there! Plenty of outdoor seating! We had a fire in the fire pit one evening and it was delightful! Thank you for this enjoyable place!

Such a Fun and Unique Property

This gem of a home was such a fun stay for our entire family. The location to the middle of the island provided great access to grocery stores and restaurants. At the same time, you feel secluded due to the property being tucked away on the canal. Our kids (and grown-ups) enjoyed all of the games that are included with the home. We will certainly be back.
