The property is under new ownership. The outside door next to our room doesn't lock so no keycard needed. There was a sign taped to the bathroom wall that said you would be charged for any damage or theft of towels. I found this very tacky. The towels were so thin you needed 2 to dry off and they only gave us 2. The breakfast was watered down juice, a bowl with 2 apples and you could make your own waffle. There was a crock pot with scrambled eggs. The bowl with instant oatmeal looked safe however it was so old that the oatmeal was bad and sticking to the package. The hot and cold water at the sink and in the shower were connected wrong so hot was on the right and cold was on the left. the person I spoke with had lots of excuses so I really don't think things will change. We had stayed here under the ld management and it was very nice. Not anymore.

It was a bit skechy place you cant beat 134 for two nights with breakfast any where else in ocean shores one thing that really bothered me was the continental breakfast is a joke. I booked that hotle before and went back 2 or three times like I said price and the breakfast one of best breakfast however they fail to tell you in winter hours breakfast is toast cereal waffle yogurt ans a tiny red apple they dont put out hot coffee or tea or cocoa for guest that stay there.the rooms are stanard a lil gettho could use some updated bedding.

This was a fair place to stay and beautiful trail to beach, I would offer caution to those heading to the beach though as surprised to come across apparent unhomed people sleeping along trail in the morning covering themselves up with old tarps and bags. Other than this surprise, quiet hotel obviously aged. The breakfast was limited but present despite few guests.

Our first time at this hotel. We stay in Ocean Shores several times a year. The staff here are wonderful! Very nice and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, with a nice bed, couch, and nice sized tv. We will stay here anytime we come to Ocean Shores.

The staff was excellent and kind. The process of checking in and paying was easy. But, you get what you pay for. This inn is an old, no frills property. Make sure to check the doors as they do NOT shut behind you.

The room needs up dating. Tub was in bad condition. Room smelled like mold. Outside doors not secured (automatic lock seemed to be broken). No hot food except waffles..(maybe other hot food came later but not at advertised time of 7:00 am). signs all over the dining room were not guest friendly ..ie telling guests not to waste food although they did say "please."

I hate to write a review like this but I’m pretty sure there are bed bugs in room 138. I tried to follow up with the hotel after getting bumps all over and they were dismissive and didn’t take my concerns seriously. This is dangerous if customers are exposed to bed bugs and need to take ongoing precautions. Honesty and accountability are the only appropriate way to handle this. I had to ask multiple times for them to inspect the room. They say they didn’t find anything but I don’t know what these bumps could be besides bed bug bites. They’re in groups of three and in lines all over my body. The bed was the only place these areas of my body were exposed during my trip and I have never had a reaction like this before except another time I was traveling internationally and was exposed to bed bugs. Proceed with caution! Based on other reviews it seems like customer service, care for the customers, and accountability is lacking.

We will always stay here!!

This will be our 2nd time staying and its perfect every time. Friendly service, quick and easy check-in and out. Clean rooms and great size pool. Breakfast was nothing fancy but had all the essentials and hot food items to choose from. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.
