Up a flight of elegant stone stairs, on the first floor of an exclusive, quiet residence, this apartment sleeps 4 people. The Mediterranean-style architecture is very attractive and the flat, with cool tiled floors, is well laid out. The contemporary kitchenette, in the living/dining room, is fully equipped with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Mokka coffee machine. The bright living area has a table that seats 4 people, a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV and glass doors that lead out to a very pretty, shaded, balcony with views of the stunning Gulf of Olbia and the island of Tavolara. The terrace has another dining table that seats 4 people and deckchairs for relaxing in the sun.

Location
This residence is on the edge of the small town of Pittulongu, right on Sardinia’s famous Costa Smeralda.

Pittulongu is truly blessed with a picture-perfect, long, white sandy beach. It is particularly popular with families, as the crystal clear, shallow waters are very safe for bathing. The area is well known for its snorkelling, thanks to the pristine sea. On the main beach, you can hire sun loungers and umbrellas. If you are feeling more energetic, you can go jet-skiing or windsurfing, plus there are many coastal hiking paths, with stunning views of the island of Tavolara – which claims to be the smallest kingdom in the world.

The town of Pittulongu is home to many excellent restaurants which cater to all ages, with local Sardinian specialities, seafood and classic Italian cuisine. There are many of the amenities that any holidaymaker might need – shops, pharmacies etc, however, you are advised to bring your own car when staying at the property. If you are more interested in trying your hand at cooking with the local produce – Olbia (11 mins drive) has at least 3 farmers\' markets a week. The biggest is on Saturdays in Via Sangallo.

Olbia airport is just a 15-minute drive from the apartment. If you plan to arrive by ferry from Livorno or Civitavecchia the ferry terminal in Olbia is only a 10-minute drive away.
