We had a wonderful stay at this property! There were 6 of us celebrating a 40th and 50th birthday and the accommodations were perfect for that amount of people and for having a personal chef provide us dinner on the patio to celebrate. The beds were very comfortable and all of the linens provided were good quality. I would recommend providing more than 1 bath and beach towel per person though because at times we had to use damp towels. The owner and property manager were great to deal with as they were both very responsive. I was nervous about the pool being chilly (as I have experienced that at other properties) but I was assured it would be warm and it was. We enjoyed night swims every day. There were a lot of mosquitos unfortunately, which of course isn't anyone's fault, but it would have been nice if the window and door way from the kitchen to the patio had screens. In order to have any natural light in the kitchen, those needed to be open so of course that let the mosquitos inside and we had to keep our bedroom doors closed to avoid being munched on while sleeping.The only other thing was the driveway was challenging. It is quite narrow and having 2 cars we had to be really thoughtful of how we were parking them. Not anyone's fault, just something to be aware of. Other than that - everything was PERFECT! We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others - the view is AMAZING! Thank you for making our stay fantastic!!

Exactly as advertised

The place is exactly as listed. Very clean house with a great view. The rooms were air conditioned and big with nice bathrooms. I really have no complaint on the house or grounds and would stay again if going to Orient Beach. One note to pay attention, the driveway isnt large, so if you rent a bigger car or multiple it can take some maneuvering. It wasnt really an issue at all and common for houses there. Dan was great at communicating and the house caretaker and cleaning people were also excellent. Overall a great rental for a family staying in Orient Beach!!

Amazing Stay and View

This is a beautiful villa in Orient bay with one of the best views available. The home is outfitted with beautiful furniture, nice linens and comfortable mattresses. The art and decor of the house is just perfect. Highly recommend this house to all family and friends and can't wait to get back.

Wonderful View

Overall, we had a fabulous time at this villa. Very clean and has everything you need. Florant was super helpful getting us set-up. We had a few challenges with the island water (not the owner's fault), which were addressed immediately. They have a cistern on-site which was great. We would have no issues staying here again.

Awesome 3 weeks in Villa La Sarabande

The Villa was extremely comfortable and well appointed, with an amazing pool and back deck area. The large outside area was mostly private, and had a fantastic outward view, with plenty of room under the covered back porch ( no umbrella required!) as well as in the sun for those of us who wanted a good tan! Dan and Flo were very attentive to any issues we had. St. Martin had a very wet fall, so Mosquitos showed up in force early mornings and evenings. We brought good repellents and area deterrents and managed to keep them at bay. We’ve been enjoying St. Martin for 30 years and rented many other places in Orient Village. This one was the best!

Dream Stay

We stayed at Dan's house to celebrate my husband's 50th and our son's 17th birthday. Dan and Flo were always accessible but once we arrived there was no real need to contact them, as everything went smoothly. The house is even more beautiful in person. The location truly can not be beat. It is very central to everything on the French side of the island and not more than 20 min or so from the Dutch side. We loved Orient Bay beach. We had a great meal at String Beach, which included beach chairs. Our favorite beach was on Penil Island, definitely worth a visit. We hope to have the opportunity to be able to stay in this house again.

Outstanding property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Dan and Flo were in constant communication with us leading up to the trip and during our stay. The view of Orient Bay is amazing. We hired a chef one night and eating a 5 star meal on the patio with that view was the highlight of our trip.

The House was Awesome!

Can't say enough good things about this house. The view is unbelievable. Bedrooms are large and beds comfortable. There are four different coffee makers in the kitchen! Was so relaxing to come back to the house after a day's adventures and be able to relax on the back deck and have a cocktail hour before walking town (3 minutes) to our choice of 8 or 9 great restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Amazing villa and exactly as described

Just returned from a week vacation with my wife, in-laws and kids (4 years old and 2 years old). Could not have been happier with this place. Dan is super fast with communication, answered every question quickly. The place is beautiful with a stunning view of the ocean. Infinity pool (with light at night) wow. Short walk to the beach and great restaurants, small shops. Separate AC units/settings for each room which was nice. The onsite manager is super nice and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Spacious, clean, modern, views from every room. Can't say enough good things.

Le sarabande was everything that was described and more. The more than adequate space, kitchen accessories, comfy beds, fine linens, and air conditioning throughout was great. We could not have found a better view of of Orient Bay any where else. Best of all, Flo, the property manager was extremely helpful. We were in contact with him throughout our stay and he was quick to come to our aid when we could not operate the tv correctly. All in all, with only one day of storm thanks to Fiona, it was a wonderful stay. Dan, the owner was rapid to respond to the many questions I had before arriving in St. Martin. We hope to return.

Sarabande is as good or better than described. Sipping drinks in the infinity pool while enjoying the beautiful views of Orient Bay was our favorite activity. The home has everything you need, appliances are high-end; good wifi everywhere in the house. The well-designed layout allows for privacy for all; with spacious bedrooms that each have a private bathroom. We had planned to go out for dinner but decided to cook at home (enjoying the brand-new grill which works well). The bed was super-comfortable and the much-needed airco worked very well. Beach towels were provided. We'd love to come back.

Wonderful Stay at La Sarabande!

Our recent stay at La Sarabande was simply amazing. The villa was private, very clean and tastefully decorated. The views from the patio/pool area are incredible. Plenty of space on the patio to be in or out of the sun as much you wish. The layout of the villa is perfect - large living area in the center, bedrooms on both sides. The master bedroom is spacious with a walk-in closet, "office" alcove and a large bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make the occasional meal and the new Weber gas grill on the patio is a nice touch. A large grocery store is only a 10 minute drive from the house and has everything you need for your stay (including liquor and beer). The villa is situated near Orient Beach, which has a variety of excellent restaurants and chair/umbrella options (5 minutes). Grand Case is also only a 15/20 minute drive and has many gourmet restaurant options (I recommend Spiga). The owner (Dan) and caretaker (Florent) were quick to respond to our various questions both before and during our stay. I highly recommend La Sarabande for your next St. Martin vacation!

Wow, wow, wow!

This home was just stunning and don't think you could find a better view! The ocean view from the back deck was just stunning, especially in the morning when the sun was just coming up. The house was very well appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and the beds were very comfortable. Both the owner and the property manager were very responsive. What a view!!!!!

The outside deck, pool and view are magnificent. That alone makes your vacation! The rest of the house is a great layout. We had a couple of challenges which Flo responded to immediately. I definitely recommend this place.

An excellent stay at La Sarabande

For perspective, I am an experienced traveler with a fair amount of VRBO experience. Based on that, La Sarabande is an excellent place to stay. The villa was very clean and very well equipped. The construction and finishes are high quality. I like to grill and the gas grill served me well and the kitchen was well-supplied. The gem is the outdoor area with the pool and the view. Did I mention the view? It is hard to stop looking out across Orient Bay to the blue ocean. I was lucky enough to witness the full moon rising with the unobstructed view of the horizon. The moon appeared to melt up out of the sea. C’était magnifique. Greg, the property manager, did a great job, responded well, and gave me good local recommendations. I plan to return to Villa La Sarabande.

Nice house but bug issues

The villa is nice with beautiful views and nice pool area. Unfortunately I couldn’t appreciate it as much as expected because there were many bugs in the house, and the mosquitoes were terrible. We wanted to spend time out ion the deck enjoying the view and have fresh air in the house but not worth the bugs and mosquitoes.

We had a wonderful stay at villa La Sarabande! The property was beautifully private with absolutely splendid views that we're already missing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.A few minor notes: mosquitos were present, though this is simply part of the tropical island experience during this season. The mosquito repellent diffusers we purchased for the bedrooms worked very effectively. The driveway and parking spaces accommodated our two compact SUV rentals well, though larger vehicles might find it tight. There were some minor maintenance items, but the property manager is already planning to address them soon.A special thank you to Florent, who was very helpful throughout our stay.Thanks you Dan, for sharing your beautiful property with us. We would absolutely book Villa La Sarabande again on our next visit to Saint Martin!
