The home is right on the lake in a cove and the view is amazing. We had a very nice stay and all in all the house is very nice. Only things that would have made it better, the ground floor deck had empty beer cans on it, old pool noodles thrown around and a swim float. There were several patio tables pushed against each other and the house and no chairs. The gate to the top deck was not attached and propped by a chair and a brick. The dock had old bait in a container sitting on it. And the deck and the outside of the house on the decks could have been power washed as they were very dirty. The shower in the hall bath had a dried wadded up wash rag in it and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. I attempted to text the property manager regarding the trash on the lower deck and never received a response so I didn’t bother sending anything about the other things. They weren’t a huge deal to us. The view seriously is amazing and with a little maintenance and cleaning this home could be a dream. It’s all ready very close. We did enjoy our stay very much even with these minor things.

Overall a nice place and great location. There were a few issues however. We were unable to drink the water, the roof leaks, and a drain on the first floor repeatedly backed up and flooded the laundry room. The property manager Ernie is very nice and was helpful.

Not the greatest

Location was beautiful, host not communicating about the water not being safe to drink until an hour before we checked in. The host was aware of this problem one week prior and did not notify us then. The explanation given by the host was he thought everything would be fixed before our stay. The fact that the host didn’t mention any problems until an hour before our check in and didn’t offer another location, modify our reservation or even refund our stay.

The house is gorgeous with incredible views of the lake. Check was smooth over the phone while still enroute and we were allowed in early, Cleaning crew was leaving as we arrived. Wi-Fi and AC worked very well all week which was a blessing due to the heat. There are some minor issues that need to be addressed, skylight leaks in the rain, which were shared with Randy. Unfortunately we could not drink the water but was advised of that just before arriving and could bring extra bottled water. Overall it was an great first experience with VRBO on the Lake of the Ozarks.

The view

The house is in a good location. The view is absolutely wonderful. Our complaint was the cleanliness. The shower wasn’t cleaned. The microwave had food from previous people. Something had leaked in fridge that wasn’t cleaned out. The carpet under table looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. I’m big on cleanliness so this a big deal for me. Also we had to contact the property mgr for something. He took care of it and was very friendly. We visited HA HA State park. It’s very nice. Overall it was a good stay.

Outstanding Property

Enjoyed 8 nights of lakefront living in this beautiful home. The covered dock and boat slip were perfect in rainy weather. We fished day and night off this dock, catching limits of crappie, catfish & bass. Host was responsive to our needs, answered questions, and stayed in touch prior to check in. House was clean and everything in working order. As with most lake homes, stairs and steep inclines are expected. Would not recommend to those with mobility issues, but otherwise perfect for those who don't mind stairs in the home and leading to the water. Home is close to the water and cove is truly no-wake as advertised.

Good Stay

Check in was easy. Property view and location is top notch. Beds/sheets clean. Towels had a musty smell when wet. Had to empty the dish washer and empty the dryer and fold. Property is older and dated but ok for the nightly price. The house could use a handyman to fix up some of the minor things that annoy homeowners. For off season it was fine. I would not stay there again. But if 250 a night is your budget then this would be just fine. Not a bad VRBO, just an older house with older house issues. 4 star for the stay. off season
