The place to stay while in Ottawa.

An amazing find. Beautiful Inn very close to all Ottawa’s attractions within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great freshly cooked breakfast.

This is an old, quaint house and operates like a b&b. Rooms are clean, but smaller than an average hotel room. Staff (owners and family) are attentive. Breakfast is individually prepared. The location is very convenient to all the major sites although walking some of the nearby streets looks a bit sketchy, especially at night

I like McGee; stayed there several times, 4 stars. Only the weirdness with the TV settings a downer. But this time, I was in room 23, the annex; I'd stayed there before so I knew that it was different from the "themed" rooms. But this time, the fridge, right next the bed was very noisy. I unplugged. But there was a "chattering" sound, intermittent by the window I wasn't able to track down. Aaargh! Sounds trivial now, but when you're very tired and have an important meeting... So 2 stars to get the management's attention. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Very nice property. Very clean rooms with period furnishing matching the history of the building. Breakfast was quite good with the exception of the crepes which were too doughy and undercooked for our liking. Unfortunately, neither the TV nor the air conditioner were working so our room was without entertainment and was uncomfortably warm. The street where the property is located is lovely, however, one may wish to exercise caution when walking in the later evening because only two blocks away at Rideau is the area crowded with many people shooting up. Other tan that, is was easy walking distance to many stores and eating establishments.

Being an old-style inn, it felt like you were staying in someone's home rather than a commercial accommodation. The environment was rustic with many yesteryear items throughout. At the same time it was updated with modern conveniences to make staying there comfortable. Each room was styled with a unique motif They served a delicious breakfast with the staff being friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in reserving a room here again

Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A nice refuge after a long day. Staff was amazing. You order breakfast from their set menu and it was delicious and way better than buffet continental breakfast offered by hotel chains. There is parking is on-site. This will be my go to place when I visit Ottawa in the future.
