This flexible two-part cabin offers cozy accommodations for couples, solo travelers, remote workers, or small families—with the added bonus of being one of our pet-friendly units.

Tucked in Navvy Town, Basecamp is just steps from the resort’s most popular amenities: pickleball courts, the heated outdoor pool, walking trails, and the vibrant marina. Whether you're here to hike, paddle, or simply unwind, Basecamp puts you in the perfect position to do it all.

Cabin Features:
This thoughtfully designed Bunkie includes two separate sleeping areas, giving guests a unique balance of shared and private space:

Main Suite: Light-filled studio with a queen-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen nook.
Bunk Room: With its own private entrance, this cozy space features a Twin XL bunk bed and full bathroom—perfect for kids, teens, or travel companions.
The main bathroom includes a stylish vessel sink and walk-in shower. The kitchenette comes complete with a mini fridge, two-burner stovetop, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and cooking essentials. A convenient washer/dryer combo makes extended stays easy and worry-free.

Outdoor Space:
Step outside and you're moments from everything: pickleball courts, the sand volleyball court, firepits, walking paths, and scenic spots along the Illinois River. With so much to explore right outside your door, Basecamp is your jumping-off point for year-round fun.

This home includes two dedicated parking spaces for your convenience.

Pet Policy:
Basecamp welcomes up to 2 dogs with a maximum weight of 75 lbs. each. A $125 non-refundable pet fee is required. Please keep pets leashed outdoors and crated if left unattended inside. Non-compliance may result in a $300 fine. Thank you for helping us keep Basecamp pet-friendly and guest-ready!

Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
No parties, events, or tents
No smoking on the property—violations result in a $500 fine
Pets allowed only with prior approval and fee

A Nod to History:
Basecamp is located in Navvy Town, named for the canal workers—or "navvies"—who built the Illinois & Michigan Canal. When completed in the mid-1800s, the canal revolutionized trade and travel by connecting the Illinois River to Lake Michigan, creating a direct link from Chicago to St. Louis and beyond. This historic waterway opened the floodgates for commerce, culture, and community across the Midwest—and Basecamp lets you experience this rich legacy in comfort and style.
