It offers unrivalled views of the lake and surrounds. Ideal for those who are seeking a peaceful retreat, while still being just a short drive from local towns, villages, attractions, and activities. This is a perfect cottage for couples, families, and friends. The freshwater trout and salmon fishing on Lough Corrib attracts fishermen worldwide. Boat hire is available at the property. The cottage is situated within a three-minute drive of Oughterard village, which is host to many shops, café's, bars, restaurants, and services. The village will provide you with everything you need for your self-catering stay.

Boat cruises to Cong and Ashford Castle, as well as to the historic Inchagoill Island are available from Oughterard Pier. Other nearby attractions include Curraduff Farm, Oughterard Golf Club, Aughnanure Castle, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail, Glengowla Mines and Brigit's Garden.
The Western Way walking route is accessible nearby and will take you towards the Hill of Doon and on to Maum. Some more local activities include fishing, pony trekking, walking, hiking, golf, boat trips, and much more.

4 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6. This is a well-presented lakeshore cottage with accommodation comprising of an entrance hall, combined kitchen and dining room, living room, four bedrooms and a family bathroom. All accommodation is on the ground floor.
The entrance to the property is lake facing and offers fantastic views of Lough Corrib. The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, electric fire, and multi-channel TV, and offers lake, island, and garden views. The spacious combined farmhouse style kitchen and dining area is well equipped with all necessary equipment including dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, slow cooker and much more. A utility room is adjacent to the kitchen and houses a washing machine. The sleeping accommodation consists of two double bedrooms, and two single bedrooms. All bedrooms are carpeted and well furnished with lockers, lamps, wardrobes, and drawers. Bedroom 1 is a double room and includes an en-suite bathroom with electric shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom. Both double bedrooms offer views of the gardens, Lough Corrib, and its islands. The remaining two bedrooms are single bedrooms, with views to the rear garden area. The main bathroom is very spacious and includes a corner bath with handheld shower head, WC and sink. The property is heated throughout by an oil heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot and highchair available. Care should be taken with babies, toddlers, and young children due to the proximity of the open lake shore to the property. Smoking is not allowed indoors. Pets are welcome. Utilities included. Wi-Fi included. Parking is available for two cars. Short breaks are available.
