Pounawea is a beautiful little Holiday Town surrounded almost by a Waterfront Estuary where the Owaka River meets the Catlins River. With Bush Walks, Golf, Tennis, Kids Park and much more only walking distance The Kowhai Flat is in a prime location!
Pounawea is only 6 min drive from the nearest Town, Petrol Station, Four Square and Restaurants. And close to all the Catlins attractions such as Jack's Blowhole, Purakainui Falls, Matai Falls and so on.
Across the Estuary is Surat Bay, famous for its stunning beaches and Sea Lions.
The Kowhai Flat is situated at Kuramea Holiday Park boasting lots of run around space for the kids! It is a semi-detached Flat (1 of 2 Flats) situated on the Kuramea Holiday Park.
Wake up to the sound of the Native Birds and enjoy your stay in the Catlins!
