Our stay was exactly what we expected based on the photos and description. The hosts stayed in great communication and gave us very clear driving instructions, including for arriving at night in an unlit area. The house was impeccably clean and well-decorated, and it was fabulous being on the property in the quiet with the starlit sky and sounds from the trees. The ping pong table was a great bonus!

Host responds quickly and provided excellent night time driving instructions. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. in the middle or a storm. It is a beautiful property. Our rental was quaint and spacious. We really enjoyed the place, liked being off the grid, very comfortable internet was a little sketchy BUT we also stayed during a very stormy period of time. Loved listening to the rain and birds at night. A microwave or hot water kettle would have been nice.

Unique place to stay

Location is beautiful, easy access to Pāhoa and the ocean. Would definitely stay again; only thing we didn’t like was there were cameras everywhere including where the indoor recreation area is at. We understand the need for security but that part made it feel a little uncomfortable.

I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a month while we relocated from Ohio. The owners were easily accessible and very kind. The house was clean and fully stocked. The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. I would recommend this place especially if your looking for something off the beaten path.
