Just needed a place to crash overnight after seeing a concert in Pioneertown and CrashPod did the job. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made checking in super easy. The facilities were very clean and well maintained.

You get what you pay for. Helpful staff. Cute chickens and kittens outside which is sweet. Washer/dryer out of commission. Privacy curtains on bunk beds were helpful. Quiet guests without drama, noise, or smells. Never a line at the shower/bathroom. Bathroom was pretty clean but be sure to bring shower shoes and toiletries. Building didn’t get too hot on 93 degree days

Staff were friendly and the place was clean. There were no bugs inside. It is also quiet. The whole place was very dark though at all times. I had to use phone flashlight to enter the room. If you like your weed this is a good place.

This place has a homey vibe I enjoy. The other guests are nice, the cats and chickens are fun to wake up to. Not perfect, but they are actively improving this hostel, but great prices if you are traveling on a budget.

We reserved the best room in the hostel, a private room (shared bath) with a/c. There was only a bed and a single hanging light. No hooks to hang anything, no tables, no chairs—just a bed. No towels at this hostel (I brought my own). So many things amiss here…one community bathroom “out of order.” In the kitchen the community stove “out of order.” Some rooms have no doors. Mgmnt looking for “volunteer” to clean—it needs it…chickens in yard apparently provide eggs, but the grounds look like a junk yard. No indoor common areas other than small kitchen.

Took a while to get the entry code, very uncomfortable bunk bed, no lights in hallway, huge cockroach in bathroom, and no light switch in room. Only saving grace was the cute kitty that greeted me ... unfortunately though the other one was eating a baby bird.
