Olivier communicated well with us from the very start, booking to check out. He was very welcoming. Check in process was easy and we were allowed into the flat early, which was wonderful. We thought we would have to find a place to leave our bags as our plane arrived early in the morning. The flat was exactly as pictured and everything worked! Hosts in the US should take some notes. The beds were very comfortable, the hot water was plentiful and the little balcony was a sweet bonus not offerred in any of the other places we considered. Be warned! There really are five flights of stairs. Although the stairs are narrow, the handrail is steady as a rock. By the end of the week our physical fitness was much improved. P.S. The location was very convenient. Right by the Les Halles metro station and walking distance from the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. À la prochaine

The apartment was fantastic. It has everything you need and more. Even in the worst winter weather, the balcony was a beautiful spot to look over the city. The apartment has easy access to anything of interest, food, drinks, groceries, activities, very central. Host was very easy to communicate with and we would definitely come back to this lovely place.

Perfect location, very walkable to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The apartment has a modern bath and kitchen. It is on the fifth floor and there is no elevator, but you have a beautiful balcony. There are two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Olivier was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and metro information. Wonderful stay, thank you Olivier.

We have just had a fantastic long weekend in this lovely apartment, right in the heart of Paris. It is on the top floor of a very traditional old building with a lot of character. The balcony was particularly nice, right opposite an old church and you could hear the choir singing on the Sunday morning. Olivier is a very helpful and charming host and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and so on. Everything is in walking distance and the location couldn’t be better. Do make sure you can lift your luggage easily as there is no lift.

Wonderful Paris Ezperience

Great location close to metro, tourist spots, restaurants and shopping. Felt like we were living like a true Parisian for a few days. There are stairs but the reward is a lovely terrace to enjoy. Our host was easy to communicate with and responsive - definitively recommend!

Comfortable apartment/Great host

We spent 2 weeks in this comfortable apartment. Olivier is an exceptional host. He answered all of our questions, addressed all of our concerns and kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. There are 5 flights of stairs to the apartment, but we just took it slow and had no problems. When a schedule change meant he couldn't meet us upon arrival, he sent videos about how to enter the building and apartment. Check in and check out were a breeze. The building is on a pedestrian street, busy with people, restaurants and shops. The double-paned windows in the bedrooms keep out the noise at night. If it gets stuffy, there is a fan for air circulation. The bed in the larger bedroom is comfortable. We enjoyed lunch and drinks on the outdoor terrace in good weather. The apartment is near Les Halles and the Pompidou, so it is central and we walked everywhere, but if you need the Metro, it is around the corner. Very enjoyable stay!

Best Host Ever

I have travelled all over the world and the owner, Oliver, is the most thoughtful and caring host I have ever come across. I, and my friend are elderly and he helped us get taxis, waked us to his favorite restaurants in the nearby neighborhoods and actually asked if we would like to ride with him in his taxi to Versailles as he had business there. Once at the Palace he shepherded us thru the congestion of thousands to an entry area where we presented our timed tickets and got in almost immediately. We especially loved sitting and having wine on his beautiful 6th floor outside terrace overlooking Paris. Fabulous experience!!!

Great location surrounded by metro stations and restaurants

Why it worked for us: central location, 15 minutes walk to Notre-Dame, several city metro stations and direct line to the airport 2 minutes walk. Restaurants on every corner. 2 quaint rooms , washer and dryer is a big plus. Be aware of the around 104 stairs up to the 5th floor. But the advantage is you don’t hear noise from a busy street and get good night sleep. The host is super friendly and helpful.

A+ for location, vibe, and amenities!

From the moment we booked, our host was communicative, honest, and welcoming. He was always quick to reply when I had questions (which was mostly silly things like "how do I get the wi-fi password" even though he had told me in a prior message). He gave us recommendations on eateries. The flat was exactly what was described and promised. Comfortable, warm, and a great patio on the 6th floor. We could see Museum Pompidou from the balcony. What a great time we had!

Great location except not knowing it was on the 5th floor.

Location was awesome, restaurants and shops vary closes. We walked everywhere except when we had lunch at the Eiffel Tower, and the river cruise we use Uber. Just some advice, make sure in shape the apt is on the 5th floor. I wanted to let people know. Other than that we a had great time. H

The only thing better than the location was the balcony!! Just really loved staying here. Every comfort was made available. Even a new portable air conditioner which made the 5 floors well worth it. Merci Oliver!!

Fantastic Location

Our stay at this property was amazing. The location in town was in perfect walking distance to all of the items we wanted to experience. Also, we love food! But being in a new city it can be difficult to know where to go. The host gave us incredible recommendations. In fact everyone he provided was just perfect. We had truffel meats, duck, and some incredible wines. All at his recommendation! As for the balcony it is even better than you can imagine from a photo! We sat out there at least twice a day everyday of our trip. Enjoying coffee in the morning in the cool air, and a glass of wine to end the day. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the kitchen and living room space was very accommodating. Really your trip is about the city you are in. But this property just made it that much nicer. If you are going to Paris stay here you will love it!

Wonderful Place

This cozy apartment was very centrally located and we were able to walk to many sights like the Louvre, Ile de Cite, and the Latin Quarter. Also conveniently located to the Metro with lots of good restaurants. A perfect base of operations to visit Paris.
