Cool hotel with old world charm that is very walkable and close to some cool things. This place was honestly a dump. it's marketed as a boutique hotel but the amenities were lacking and everything was damaged. the walls were dirty, paint was chipped, outlets didn't work or weren't installed, there were flies in the room, the toilet ran all night, i can go on... but the weirdest part is that there is not a single person working at this hotel at night other than a security person who is located in the building across the street. as a solo female traveller, i felt unsafe and just generally really let down by this experience. i absolutely would not recommend this stay.

Everyhting seemed to be great, clean room, good service, it was nice to see people we knew, although we did miss some of the staff who were no longer there. Great room, we missed some of the things that were part of Hotel Gabriel. The only minor thing was the bath towels were a bit thin and seemed a little worn comared to what we have experienced in the past.
