Good stay - room small (as expected for Paris) but room was comfortable for our needs. Easy to walk from Gare du Nord & great location for sightseeing. Breakfast was average in the morning and had to ask for certain refills from staff.

The room and the bedding is clean and fresh. The room has a good size. I wish they give separate bottles for soap and shampoo. It doesn’t provide body lotion.

Property was great, central with friendly staff. The only negative was that the rooms are a little small and the breakfast was limited and not looked over and refilled.

Room was small for 3 adults. Good for 2 adults. We found black hair in the sink, on the bed and towels and pulled one from the wall. The toilet wreaked of urine. TV didn’t work but was fixed quickly. Handheld showerhead would not stay in place. Staff was pleasant. Food was cold but ok.

Wouldn’t stay again

Booked this trip as a birthday present for my mum - she was so excited as she’d never been to Paris. Unfortunately it didn’t get off to a great start and we were unimpressed with the hotel. The room we were put in was literally right next to the reception desk (~1m) which meant it was extremely noisy - noise from reception, the street and the bar (not advised on the booking). Mum suffers with various respiratory issues so I intentionally booked a hotel with air conditioning. Unfortunately the ‘air conditioning’ in this hotel is a building system rather than room specific so we could not use air con. The hotel could not provide a fan instead and advised to open a window. This was not possible at night due to being on the ground floor and facing the street. We were offered to move to a different room so we could open a window but expected to pay double what I’d already paid!! If I’d have know the room was on the ground floor, with no air con, fan or the option to open a window, I wouldn’t have booked the room at all. Security was also a concern - you’re asked to give reception your key when leaving but when we returned to collect the key, they don’t ask for a name or any details.. just give the room number and they hand over the key. Could be given to anyone! The hotel was generally clean and in good condition, although the door handle literally fell off the bathroom door so we could not shut it properly.

Please remember it is a capital city and you get what you pay for. If you are going for couple of nights need good location and don’t want to spend over £175 a night it is perfect. On the metro very close to Champs Elysee and few minutes walk to galleries Lafayette. It’s also very safe I went shopping in Louis Vuitton and put my shopping in my room. If your like celebrating something then book more expensive hotel. Staff are very nice and breakfast is good.

Poor experience for a birthday stay

Booked a superior room a month in advance for my birthday trip. Got there and was given a disabled room right by the entrance and next to the bar, communal area and the reception (and overlooking the main street). Asked if they had any other rooms.. "Sorry we're full". They could atleast have warned that the room will be on the ground floor and expect noise but they didn't bother ofcourse. The bar area got busy sometimes and guests were loud and often had some on loud video calls. All throughout the night all we kept hearing is the buzzer being pressed for late guests coming in through the night because they don't have a card entry system so you have to press a buzzer for reception to let guests in. Never staying here and if you do decide to stay, make sure you don't get the ground floor rooms - they are noisy. Also, in the night the room on ground floor facing the street has a street light right opposite so any tiny gap in the curtains will mean a fairly bright room in the night.

Nice, but hot

Staff were generally lovely, location great. Had a weird incident with a lady at breakfast who insisted that my wife wasn't allowed to take a coffee up to our room until she had poured it into a different cup, which was almost identical to the original cup, but that wasn't terrible, just weird. Only problem was that the room was *far* too hot, and apparently the air-con couldn't cool, only heat. If we had been on a higher floor we could have left the window open, but we were on the 1st floor, and there's a walkway connecting all the rooms windows at that level, so wasn't safe to leave it open while we were out. (I don't know if all the rooms are that hot or if we were on top of heating vents or something. Avoid room 104 anyway) Otherwise, really nice!

This is a really good hotel in a good location. The staff are nice and the breakfast is very good. Our room was very small and the "queen bed" was actually a double. No bedside tables. Croissants in lobby most of the time. Good wifi.

Stayed for business for 4 nights at the end of October. Positives: It was within a few metres from the office so very convenient and really well situated for shopping/opera/jogging to the Louvre and Tuilieries gardens too. Galeries Lafayette is just around the corner too. Breakfast was included in my rate and there was a selection of fruit, yoghurts, mini pastries, juices, coffees etc. I didn't have any of the hot options but this seemed to be a little more limited. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. Negatives were the room temperature - it was super hot despite us staying in October and we weren't able to control the temperature ourselves. I did mention this to reception - as there is seemingly a heater in the wardrobe too - but they didn't give any feedback to help / suggest alternatives. The heater might be great for getting the creases out of your clothes, but not for sleeping. I'd also asked if there was a possibility of changing to a bath vs. shower room (at any point during the stay( on check-in and was told there wasn't (though two of my colleagues checking in the next day) did have baths in their rooms and same room type so don't think this was strictly true.
