Theft in the hotel!
Update (1/1/2026):
The hotel examined the entry and exit logs to the storage room and excluded intervention of the hotel staff. The manager said there are no cameras monitoring the storage room and the entry way. This means thieves can enter and leave this hotel undetected.
Update (12/29/2025):
Despite information on Hyatt’s website (Google Hotel Noucha and Hyatt; Google does not allow me to post a link here), the front desk manager said Hotel Noucha is NOT part of the Hyatt Group. She said that I was wrong in identifying it as part of the Hyatt Group. If you book this hotel partly because you think it belongs to the Hyatt Group, please take this into consideration.
The manager also showed us a picture that the zippers of the suitcase were open when it was sent to our room. She said she informed all of her staff yesterday but no one told us anything about it yesterday. Someone at the hotel decided to leave the broken-into suitcase in our room to surprise us. I am speechless.
According to the front desk manager, after the hotel receives a police report, it will file a claim with its insurance company. The insurance will then contact me for damages. I asked her how long it will take. She said it won’t be longer than 6 months.

My wife picked this hotel because this Hyatt- group hotel was newly opened in 2025. We left a suitcase with the hotel to spend 5 days in Strasbourg and neighboring cities. When we came back
