This property is a three bedroom, regardless of what it says in the description as it won’t let me change it, but it can sleep up to eight people. This is my home, my primary residence and it is available all summer Open plan new family home. 3 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Beautiful views with amazing sunsets. West facing so lots of sun. 2 drive way parking spots. New clean. and quiet family neighbourhood. 5 min drive from the beach and downtown. Nice hikes as the house is trails around it. FYI there is a renter in the basement suite with a separate entrance behind house. No noise after 10pm please and no parties or large gatherings

Nice views and spacious set up for kitchen, dining and watching TV. Kitchen well stocked, but ironically no wine bottle opener (in wine country). Balcony set up looked nice but too cold to use during our stay. No soap or body wash available in bathrooms, but plenty of shampoo. Generally nice views of the hills over the rooftop of many homes that are very close by (side windows are right up against neighbours). The neighbourhood seems a safe wonderland for young children playing in the street, but limited window soundproofing meant sounds from children all day long. There is a rental unit below with young children and the volume of noise was quite high from the crack of dawn to evening. Ours was not a peaceful stay, but this is likely because it was during the school holiday with cold weather so everybody stayed in at the same time.

Very spacious condo and well stocked. Lovely outdoor seating area on the deck. One ask would be for cleaning staff to ensure shower drains are clean as the ensuite shower did not drain properly and almost ran over. Otherwise very nice

Great place overall. Clean, spacious, and very well equipped, with great views of the sunset over the mountains. Host was very responsive. In particular we loved the kitchen and the master ensuite. Water pressure was good as well! Only critiques would be that the unit has a basement tenant with young children, so there was a bit of noise early in the mornings, and the smart thermostat would keep switching the setting once it reached the next scheduling point, making it a bit trickier to keep a stable temp.

The property was very clean and organized. It does have very unique views and it is very spacious but we had 2 big problems.First the temperature inside was very high we tried several times to bring the temperature down but again the AC thermometer was going on the Eco mode and still temperature was high and we barely could sleep at first 2 nights.Second, the renter was living under our unit and she was very very unreasonable and disturbing. The first night it means 1 hour after we arrived there at 8:00 pm, came up knocked on our door and complained that you are too loud and my children are sleeping.Tomorrow morning around 5:00 am her children were up and they were crying and screaming and yelling that very early morning. Again, the second night around 12:00 am midnight while we were brushing our teeth and talking and laughing in the master bedroom bathroom, she came up again and knocked at our door and said that my bedroom is under your bathroom and you are too loud be quiet. Really??? We were in the house with all windows closed. If still you can hear us in the regular routine activities, it is not our problem. By the way how dare you any time you come up and knock at our door???Because of her unreasonable behaviour and so selfish behaviour we had very hard time there. We couldn’t even talk or laugh. And if her children were up 5:00 am and were screaming and crying and yelling it was totally right?Host was very helpful in this matter but I won’t go there anymore.

The house was beautiful, yet comfortable. It had a nice large deck to lounge about and the couch was a great space too for hanging out and watching the tv. The kitchen was big with an awesome island. The fridge wasn't completely cleared out (we threw out a take out container that was left behind - no biggie) and put the handful of items left in the fridge to one side to fit our items in the fridge. Kitchen was well stocked with garbage bags, paper towels, etc.Great views from the balcony and master bedroom. Beds were also really comfortable. Location of the house was a little confusing at first as access is from a back lane/road that goes up a hill but the 2 parking spaces in the driveway was appreciated.If you're in the lower bedroom you can sometimes hear the tenants. But we weren't there very much so didn't make much of a difference.The owner, Jay, was awesome to deal with. He was very prompt and accommodating.All in all a great property for a family to enjoy. We certainly did!

Great house and location! Close enough to all of the amenities in Penticton, but far enough away for a calm, relaxing place to spend the night. Great views in a peaceful neighborhood. Communication with the owner was excellent and the house was well stocked with everything we needed and more ... will definitely be back!

Beautiful house, excellent getaway

6 of us (ages 20-44) stayed at Jason’s home (4 nights), which is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The house is amazing, well stocked, bright and spacious. TV comes with YouTube, Netflix, Crave etc. Everything was very clean and tidy. Check in and check out went smooth. Jason responded immediately to any questions and was a superb host. Would definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

This was a great vacation rental. Everything there one would need. We would definitely book again. The only downside was you couldn’t really walk to the shopping areas, but everything was within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful home away from home.

Well stocked house. Had everything you would ever need. Jay’s communication was great. I gave it a lower rating on cleanliness due to the kitchen/cupboard door uncleanliness. Nothing major but could be better. Other than that, the place great and would recommend.

In general good

The location and the view of the property was great. The house was big and spacious but practically it has just one big master bedroom. The second room was in basement and every day very early morning you could hear so much noise from renters in the suit next to basement bedroom. The house was very dusty and floor was very dirt and you could find dirty towel in the laundry and extra bedding were crumbled in the closet which you weren’t sure if they are clean or dirty.. in general the house was very nice and location was perfect and even the owner or manager was really polite and friendly if he can take care of the cleanliness of the house much better than before.

The ad did not mention that there was a tenant in the basement but that it what we were advised once the booking was made. Just something to be aware of. The showers and sinks did not drain properly and this was frustrating. As mentioned in previous reviews, the cleanliness needs to improve - dirty cutlery in the drawers, dead bugs on window ledges, hair in the drawers etc. The property could do with a deep clean from a professional cleaner. I had to descale the kettle during our stay. There are only 2 bedrooms as indicated and 1 is in the basement. The only way 8 can be accommodated is if the couch in the living room is used. It is a very wide and comfortable couch. There are no blackout blinds in the living room, so also something to think about. No space to hang out fold your clothes in a closet, apart from a clothes rack in the master bedroom. Cleanliness and well draining showers is the main issue. Would have received 4 stars if not for that.

Penticton stay

The property was nice. I was under the impression we had the house to ourselves unfortunately I received a text message at about 0400 to keep the noise down as there were tenants with small children. I felt that we were relatively quiet except for a late supper at 9pm. Also the couple sleeping in the basement room were woken up by loud voices also a lot of loud banging.some of the condiments were expired by 2 years and a jug of milk expired 5 days before we arrived.Unfortunately did not reflect the reviews that were posted.over felt uncomfortable staying there as very concerned about any noise. Other VRBO’s we’ve stayed was for our family only no tenants to worry about and was not in the online advertisement.
